This video series is making me so happy. It shows how good each character can be without having all-GG items. Yeah, it's fun to see the other "perfect" builds with broken frames and such, but builds like this are *sooo* much more practical for 90% of us D2 players.

People will take Lem and even Fal runes in EU. Nothing lower though. I personally don't keep anything that's worth so little, but a lot of people do, for some reason.

I feel like a mal for a torch is still a good deal though, considering what you have to go through to get a torch. Yea it may be a crap torch, but if it's your first build it adds a massive boost to its performance. And getting a mal is not such an unfathomable task considering the countess drops up to an ist. I got a mal drop before I had my crap torch, now I finally made her drop an um.

@ Pone i got a 20/10 torch for 2 Pul. Granted its nothing to write home about. But Pulx2 is definitely in line with Ist worth showcased in this video. You just need to fine a reasonable trade instead of bending over to rip off trades. Want a good trade? Maybe dont offer the bad traders good deals?

For those of you that are pretty new to D2 or returning, the definition of "Super Budget" is not what you think, especially if you are single player and not online trading etc. Like just a person who wants to play a game for fun. You will need to spend a good amount of time grinding...errr farming for items still. If you really really want to see the progression of playing a build from the ACTUAL start (true "budget") then tune into his vanilla playthrough's that he has on his website for each class. Also remember his videos are from Twitch streams so they will be different than an regular informing style You Tube video. While they are 3-5 hours long for EACH level and sometimes dated, the information is still very valid. He also has a tendency to click through sometimes very fast, and at times takes certain knowledge of the game details for granted, but there is no other person that has done so many builds in this fashion. He grinds...err farms when he has to but is not trying to get Uber gear. Believe me they are long enough without it. Take notes when you hear something you want to remember because I promise you will never find it in a timestamp.

My problem with magic finding is that there's VERY few unique/rare/set items worth a lot in D2 because of insane OP runewords. Even the more rarer, high-level drops aren't end-game gear - thus even though they might be really good finds and viable to use, no one wants them because everyone is chasing after runes for runewords that EASILY destroy them in stats like Enigma, Coh, HOTO, BOTD, Grief, etc, etc. They should either add in some unique/rare items that can compete with runewords or add in some gear capable of increasing rune drop % chance to help balance this. It really sucks that runewords have made basically ALL set items and uniques not as exiting when they drop (and arguably completely useless now).

It's unfortunate too. People don't understand the usefulness of having ko/fals. They are easy to up to lem/pul/um/mal/ist. By time you hit pul though it's more profitable to off them for fg then it would be to actually keep upping in most instances. But ya, I've never once wasted time trading for ko/fal considering I find them all the time and have already found the items that are worth that 100x over.

Made one in one day after I was growing a bit tired of my Hdins playstyle pre enigma. Bought everything for 2 ist including all endgame cow clearing gear other than my eventual enigma I wear now. For 2 ist and a day worth of grush then xp grind I was 1shotting 20-30 cow herds. I've been preaching the cost effectiveness of this build for weeks.

Still really optimistic trading, but the amazon is a cheap build since you do not use enigma. You only farm cows with her anyway and for that a basic gear & titans is all that is required. There is absolutely no need to tank anything in cow level. A storm shield is much more important just to not insta die to cow physical damage. Max blockrate is also nice. I have no real resistances and it isn't an issue in cow level. Noone would really farm anything else with the javazon, unless geared & infinity in which case more areas open up but that can be said for all classes. 34% spirit monarch, peace & duriels shell for Lem is really hard. Noone wants to spend time on making those trades so they generally ask for more. Just the 34 spirit is usually pul/lem. The other 2 items are usually ko or lem each as noone wants to waste time for a loss/low/under trade. But overall, the item values still do not ammount to much more than an ist even if the trades were not chat-supplied trades. It would take many hours to get these kind of trades normally, still. The javazon is so easy to gear as you really mostly need titans, razortail and a stormshield to tank & kill cows fast. The rest can literally be gheed-gambled garbage. Skip stormshield if you don't mind watching your steps. This is a great example for a budget build, the downside is that the usage is mostly cows, but everyone should have a cow runner imo. I tried a naked javazon with only titans, razortail and a torch, it still cleared cow although relatively slow. Best budget cow runner class by miles.

It's like a rich person walking into a Costco to buy a pack of toilet paper but comes out with a Macbook Pro, 72 inch OLED TV and an iPad because they were $100 off on sale. Something like: Angelic Ring/Ammy, Smoke, Lore, Rhyme shield, crafted/rare ring and amulet, Sigons belt/Gloves or IK belt, Hsarus's boots, and whatever Javelins you can buy from Charsi Act 1 Nightmare (worst case scenario) should be 'budget.' Basically, anything you can farm in Nightmare before you hit immunities or get boned on your hell forge quest runes IO DOL IO DOL IO DOL

The absolute lowest I see people offering is Um, and I doubt a lot of sellers are taking those trades (maybe more are after this video...). Prices fluctuate of course, but there's a difference between what should be the values and what they are actually trading for. I don't think it's intentional, but LLama is way off with his prices here, and of course his trades go through when his followers accept anything he throws at them.

My clvl 42 Javazon is rocking a 3 Tir mask, Ghost Armor, Titan's, Ancient's, 2/20 rare gloves w cold res, Hsarus' boots/belt, Nokozan, rare ring with light/poison res & 50 poison dmg, 75 mana ring and tele staff on switch. She slays for Act 3 NM on SP.

Here I was, thinking people jut want to give you stuff for free and chat is just scamming you as if they're sharing the runes you pay XD Pul for duriels, peace, and spirit shield. Sure, if you're in a hurry. And why not, the faster you get the woman geared up, the faster you can slaughter cows and stuff and earn the whole setup back. More importantly, I really love these builds. Especially the reasoning behind what items to choose. Even if you play offline and/or don't trade you at least know what to look for. Having been an online classic fan for decades and now an offline LoD fan, I honestly have little to no knowledge how to build a decent character in LoD. This is really helpful.

A "Super-budget" build with a Torch and everything.. and even considering a Shako.. good luck getting all that on Hardcore for 1 IST rune. A much cheaper and underrated build for the Amazon, IMO, would be the full Disciple set - a ton of resistances, skills and the awesome Laying of Hands for IaS / dmg to Demons. Put-in a cheap Tal's mask, a Spirit shield and a Raven frost and your "super-budget" will go down to a Pul rune max instead of Ist.

one issue with raven frost that i have is that it drops fairly late into the game. a javazon has a lot of trouble progressing through the game in hell in my experience, and I eventually had to get a sorc to get "there"

IAS will be more important than +skills. If you can get both stats, great, but it's not necessary. I play single player only, and just recently finished hell as a javazon. I used 30% IAS javelins that I bought from Malah in Act 5 normal.

I started a javazon. A rare java had dropped, but had +4 to java skills, which I always thought +3 was max. This java is lvl 30. BTW, it has 'replenish' on it too. Still need raven frost. Have a lvl 37 +2 java skills gauntlets.

While I really appreciate all of your videos, all of the work you do to make your videos, and I especially like the build videos, videos like this just aren’t realistic to me at all. You’re in a completely different situation here than almost everyone else. You have a large number of people on chat willing to actually make these trades just to help you out, not necessarily because they need or want the runes. In reality, hardly no one will make these trades. Most of the time you’ll find people say, “I have no use for this”. While it was interesting to see what people would trade if everyone actually did trade like this, It’s just unrealistic.

you are dead wrong. people always want to trade gears for runes, simply because it saves storage space while preserving the value. and when you need the gear you can easily trade it back with the same rune. they literally come running. in economics this is called the gresham's law. aka bad money drives out good.

I mean sure, doing it this quickly is something a normal player can't do. But, this would be pretty easy to do. All you do is, while you're doing solo farming you name your games "ko 4 razortail" or whatever, and at some point someone will join the game and make an offer. You can even just afk games with names like that, and when you come back later you can message the people that entered your game. It might take a couple weeks for a fairly casual player to make all these trades, but if you just use your game names to trade while you're doing the stuff you already do, it becomes a very doable task. I'd actually say the most unrealistic thing about this is that he had to make so many trades. A bunch of this stuff can be found or farmed before you even get to hell, a lot of those charms can just be found along the way while leveling. You could easily find a better ring than the 18/11/11 he got. This is an extremely doable build, the key is passively looking for trades with your game names.

When I was leveling up my zon I said to myself "oh I need a Valk helm".. I was in Act 3 and gambled one on my first attempt. I wish I could have been recording that but I'd take the Valk Helm over Shako. I wanted to state that I feel D2R didn't calculate FRW percent correctly, my zon runs so slow even with FRW gear that I had to go with a Harmony on my Act 1 merc. FRW from the Valk, Mav Belt and 40 FRW on boots and I still see her being slow

They won't be a problem after awhile. I haven't played a Javazon ever. Started when D2R came out. All I'm missing is the diadem and BiS chest. But I kill lighting immune with ease. My merc also helps. They go down in seconds.

Can go hybrid with Poison Javelin. Sure you shave off a few hundred lightning damage by not investing in the synergies. But with decent gear you can kill literally anything in the game. I can't think of any monster that is Physical, Lightning, and poison immune

that is 100% not true, it's such low budget stuff and the weapon doesn't matter as long as it has some +Jav skills. It's one of the best/cheapest starters.

Torch prices really vary by which character it is for. Generally sorc and pally are most expensive. Druid, Assassin, Amazon being cheap.

Discount aside, having thousands of viewers insta-joining your game with the items you need that's not how it really goes. What u guys think of playing with 2 others to farm like cow lvl or general to get better drops but this dudes sometimes pick up the drops faster so better solo in bnet or with randoms

For those times when someone picks up a good drop, think of it this way - having more players increases the drop chance, hence if the guy wasn't in the game the item would have probably never dropped in the first place (i.e. when solo farming).
