I tried this tonight and it was outstanding. Better than any restaurant I’ve tried in my 64 years! I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of using spicy Hungarian Sausage I had on hand and added shrimp. I just can’t say enough about it. Just the right amount of heat and flavor off the charts. I’ll be feasting on this for days. Thank you!

I am crying inside because I just made this dish LAST NIGHT for the very first time and made the mistake of following a rookie recipe lol. Man it was a fail. I’m looking at this video and knew I should’ve come here first lol! I see now that this isn’t the first time you’ve posted this dish either. Gotta trust what I know will be 🔥 everytime! Definitely coming back to follow this one in a few weeks when I have the courage to attempt it again lol.

Looks amazing! Pro tip. I take about 4-6 chicken livers and boil them until they’re super tender. I mash them up and add them to the rice mixture when I add my broth. Trust me! Even if you don’t like chicken livers, you will never know it’s in there. It just adds a little extra something. ❤😊

I tried the jambalaya off " The Kitchn" recipe from a Google search twice now, and both came out phenomenal. However, it didn't call for Worcestershire sauce or tomato paste, so I didn't bother, but what I did do was saute the veggies then set them aside just like the sausage and chicken and did the rice with a bit of bacon fat. My goal was to make it so the vegetables came out, Al dante. I'm going to have to give your recipe a try sometime. It looks delicious.

FYI ... the "Cajun trinity" varies depending on where you are. In New Orleans, and in other parts of Louisiana where Italian immigrants settled, like the Bayou Teche and Bayou Lafourche, the trinity is onions, celery, and bell pepper.
