Thank you so very much for clearing up some confusion. You're the first native speakers who, instead of flattery and simply saying, 'Who cares?', explains some typical mistakes, which is so invaluable and invigorating! Thank you!

As far as I'm concerned, you can use 'prefer + gerund' as well. Plus those two uses ain't no different from each other semantically. Anyhoo good vid, I dug it, fam!

You are a crack. as they say in my country, Colombia. You call someone “crack” when they do something good or cool, or if they are good at something. For example, someone who is good at soccer is referred as, “sos un crack en futbol”, someone who got a good grade in the test, “Huyyyy que crack este man cool is this guy

At the beginning of the video you say "I prefer to have chicken". But later you say we don't need a verb when we use "prefer". So, both forms are valid?

@@davinchi_rr If you use prefer with a verb you need to add "to". On the other hand, you can use would rather, and in that case you don't add "to." I prefer TO have chicken, and, I would rather have chicken.

@@davinchi_rr Yeah, you can use "prefer" with a verb, like this: - "I PREFER TO GO to the movies. even with negative form, like this; - I prefer NOT TO GO to the movies. Now, you can also say: - I would rather GO to the movies. - I would rather NOT GO to the movies. # using contraction. - I'd rather GO to the movies. - I'd rather NOT GO to the movies. There are other options when you use nouns, like this: - I prefer chicken TO beef. Or. - I'd rather have chicken THAN beef. I hope I helped you. Thanks for reading my comment.

people don't know- too, to, and two. read, read and red. seen or saw..in sentences.. NO wonder you're kids can't read. teachers aren't teaching anything. adults as well. i see so many adults using the word seen, improperly, its makes me cringe!!! i seen it to. OMG. u can't correct them, then u have a fight.. so, how do u teach people, how to speak properly? not proper... that's another word, used improperly...
