European left hand drive e60 standing front to bonnet, left lock is opened, right one stuck due to mechanics somehow did not secured the wire. Is it possible to try with long screw driver to open the right (drivers) lock threw little gap between bonnet and bumper ?

is your video relevant for a left hand drive car? I can’t open two locks. two locks open in this way? Or only left?

@FutureLight Yes the video is relevant to left hand drive cars as well. The locks open exactly the same way as demonstrated in the video. However you may have harder time to open right lock because there are more things in the way if you are doing it from underneath. Hope I could help. If you have any other questions,just ask.

@@MrNiceGuy94 after tightening the loops, it stopped opening. and I'm afraid that due to the strong pressure on the lock, I won't be able to push it with a screwdriver :( but I'll try anyway

@@MegaKrepish What loops do you mean? Another option would be if you reach to the box where the bowden cables split and trying to pull on them separately. I am talking about the box shown in the video at 0:08

@@MrNiceGuy94 not really my battery Is dead and the car locked, the cylinder wont open itself with the key manually. Now i thought removing just the left kidney from our pov was enough

@@mikesiegenthaler4224 It is quite difficult to open through the kidney,as you have to remove that as well, and you can't really see hood lock from that position. It is definitely better from underneath. The problem is that the left hand side is fairly easy, but on the right hand side you have a few things in the way if it is an E60.

@@mikesiegenthaler4224 What you can try is to pull on that bowden cable shown in the video. But you have to pull both cables for the hood lock. Or you can buy a kit to open a car, I think I have seen some for sale.

Look what I have found for you. This guy is genius. You can undo the wheel arch bolts and pull off the connector off of the indicator, then you just connect it to another battery and you can unlock your car.(-brown cable, +is the other colour you have). took me four days to get the left latch open, right latch still wont open... left latch took pliers to broken cable from inside the drivers side of car, machete under the hood, pulled on cable after removing grill,, used a knife to slide left side, used handle release from front of car.. I dont know what worked but finally the left side seems to be up a inch or so, now the right one.. could take four more days

If you are standing in front of the car, then the left side is easy, because you can see it from underneath and you have access to it as well. However the right side would be a pain in the ass as there are lot of stuff in the way. If you follow the video you can unlock the left side.
