Thanks for the update. We didn't see any of particular flu symptoms in the northern midwest during the season, but there's been sporadic testing.

Here in Idaho Southern Idaho is getting hit hard with the snows. Eastern side is getting hit hard as well. Impressed how the birds were not spooked by the drone, great video!!!

Thank you - maybe they are getting used to my daily assessment flights? I wish there was nothing to see.

I’ve wondered for decades if having our wildlife and waterfowl refuges in the same locations year after year would someday prove to be a very bad idea. It’s no different than one of the many chicken or turkey confinement buildings that has been infected repopulating the same building without disinfecting it 🤷♂️

Sad and kind of makes you wonder or question if 'harrassing' the waterfowl to get them to move on and away from the area might be better off.

We were just down in Missouri this past week, a lot of sick and dead snows down there.

So sad

You were definitely close enough to push them with your drone. You were stressing them.

30 dead or dying snow geese on Swanson reservoir in SW nebraska yesterday. The zombie geese are heartbreaking to see. All snows. Same disease reported at Harlan County Reservoir.

Bunch of dead Canadas above lock and dam 10 on the Mississippi River too. Really sad to see.

I am curious why the Canada geese seem to be getting hit so hard, yet waterfowl with them maybe not... or maybe we just are not seeing it?

@MrNikonshooter I'm wondering that too. Maybe it's because most of the ducks have moved further south so we just aren't seeing as many around here? But the swans don't seem to be getting sick yet, either.
