The 100-200 time isn't the thing that astonished me the most. It's the trip computer instantly maxing at 99.9L/100km under full load, which means that it's at least 1/3 more than that. Insane stuff.

That is a mindboggling number. I have known for 15 years that these cars and their predecessors are extremely fast, but this really puts it into perspective. My car takes 14 seconds to get from 100-200, which is definitely already faster than average, and it's still 4 times as slow as this. The difference is so great that I just can't picture in my mind what it would be like.

The one thing video cannot convey: acceleration. The experience of rapid acceleration is almost entirely visceral -- you feel it in your body. The closest I've ever come to this level of acceleration was on my GSX-R1100 when I was younger. Watching a video of that same experience conveys almost none of the actual gut feeling. For people without the means to buy a fast vehicle, try a roller coaster.
