Le Guin shows such a depth of patience and grace with Harraway, this talk is equal parts profound and hilarious. And I admire Harraways work.

Gracias por compartir este debate, las dos autoras son muy potentes y es un placer acceder a un diálogo entre ellas.

I wonder why the camera angles include peering through water bottles and past mic stands, or else a clear shot of Le Guin but from a great distance. Did they not plan to film their guest?

Amazed no comments, only 20 likes, considering that Ursual died on Jan. 22 this year, two days after she died at age 88. I'm earmarking to watch tonite.

The day she died I had just bought and read her collection of articles on writing fiction. I looked her up and there were the news. The same happenned when Trump was elected and I bought Philip Roth’s Plot Against America. I should stop buying books and limit myself to the free library.

I am really fascinated with Haraway’s moderation of “being together” in her given time(off).

comments a little hard on the hosts, I rather enjoyed the vibe on stage among the three

Yeah, it's clear they know each other already and feels more like a chat among friends than a serious debate.

May 2014 Haraway really bugs me. She just seems to spew pseudointellectual BS. Especially starting with the talk about technology at 32 min. Try comparing The Dispossessed by Ursula K Le Guin to Voyage from Yesteryear by James P Hogan.

Good Lord these two prating fools! I wish they would stop talking and let their guest speak. Ursula is infinitely more interesting and relevant than either of them.

Haraway is unbearable. She's babbling nonsense half of time and her snobbishness is such a contrast to the grace and humbleness of Le Guin.

pretty sure they drove cars and planes to get there too I mean think of all tu electricity they're using to light this stage.al would of preferred they sat in the dark tbh

Awful. I’m a fan of Haraway & Le Guin and somehow these two geniuses along with a talkative presenter produced a halting, off-topic stammering that I did not have patience for. If there is something good here cut it out and produce an edited version of this staged junk.
