I always found it strange how 8th Avenue and Lexington Avenue both share Jessica’s Fulton Street announcement while Seventh Avenue and Nassau Street have their own announcements.

Bc the F goes on QBL express, but since it went local on QBL, which it Doesn’t usually do. They had to put that announcement in. Bc if it said “This is a Manhattan F local train” On QBL, then people would think the F IS local on QBL.

Whenever you hear"via the (Insert Trunk Line Here) local line, it is likely a hold over from the original announcements. The old (N) program in Manhattan used to say "via the Broadway local like" when the train ran local in Manhattan.

It's funny, if the train would have taken the E line tracks from Queens Plaza to Court Sq as it claimed to be via the E line it would not be possible to go to 21 St next. It was already arriving on the G line platform at 21 St station.

It said via the E line because the G does NOT stop at Queens Plaza. If it said via the G line at Queens Plaza it would have confused passengers into thinking the G stops at Queens Plaza

@@2train297 That makes sense, on the other hand the train was going on the Queens Blvd Local Line since Forest Hills and and it seems that Court Sq. is also part of the Queens Bld. Local Line thus it could have said that one more time instead of the E line thing. It could have also said to be via M local and be fine. Do passengers even know what the Queens Bld. Local line is? On the map MTA uses the line numbers and letters so wouldn't "via the M local line" be better than "via the Queens Blvd. local line"? But what should I know, I'm 3700miles away :D
