Or you know, when one hick in a project causes everything to piss off the dad. Had to mow the backyard one time and the only thing available was a 25+ year old push mower (our other mowers were either dead or had a busted belt). My dad that day was tossing that thing around just yanking on the cord to get it started; it was like the machine equivalent of slamming someone into the ground repeatedly despite my protests in telling him it’s not working. Regardless, my dad got it started out of pure stubbornness and frustration… only for it to choke on the tall grass and shut off, repeating the process.

The second time it looks stuck is the point when I tell my dad to step back. I would then get under the table, lie on my back, and put my feet and arms on opposite ends und the table and push them apart using my leg and arm muscles in unison. Pulling it apart with 2 people starts looking way less efficient after it fails more than once. Pushing is easier, if not less awkward looking.
