I feel that the reason it was so much shorter was just in the between-steps because he was using the PHD augment that made his sliding much faster, leading to better traversal.

There were a lot of micro-optimizations as well! For example at 10:05 Milo is thinking he made a mistake by not picking up the Aetherella statues earlier in the run, but he actually just held off until the step where he has to wait for the LTG to break and had the time to blow (whereas when he first got to the comic book store, he only picked up 1 statue to avoid waiting on Jet Gun reload and/or taking more time than needed in the shop to progress the run)

I know we all ragged on Liberty Balls but it is honestly a pretty great map. The easter egg is short and simple and the dark ops to complete it under 30 minutes is a great incentive for people like me who dont want to get into speed running. Zombies is excellent this year

Yeah even Milo himself said it when he first found out about the supervillain easter egg. Just save the figure in the church fir last right before you walk in. Or you could likely suck it while walking away from it to bring it into the Church with you and activate it when you want instead of the very start.

Duplicating the cannister shouldn't be considered a skip, it's quite literally exploiting a bug in the game, and using it should disqualify your run from WR consideration as far as I'm concerned. Maybe I'm wrong and being too much of a purist, but IMHO, if you're going to attempt a speed run for something like an Easter Egg, you should be required to complete EVERY, SINGLE, STEP for it to count.

In the speedrunning community, there is a distinction between any speedrun completion, and completing without using any glitches/bugs/exploits. This is valid under the any completion standard, but you're right obviously can't be considered for a glitchless speedrun.

Hey Milo, great video first of all, I found out something very interesting in Liberty Falls by accident, if you solve the main easter egg on solo then continue on the game and quit scaring on the same round that you solved the easter egg on and you load that save file again you will respawn before the boss fight and if you immediately kill the boss, you will get the liberated calling card and if you continue playing and at any time saving and quitting then loads of the save again you can replay the Bossfight, even though you killed it so that’s an interesting thing, and I hope you try it out

I've finished it in 5 mins. Tip for those who want the calling card easily: Enter a solo game, do all the EE steps, but dont start the boss fight. Save and quit, reload your save, and the timer will reset. Once you start the boss fight and get it done, you'l get the calling card easily

Case and point; I didn't get any double points, no max ammos, a vermin round on round 4 when I needed zombies the most, got nothing but snacks from the vending machine, low scrap drops in spite of using a suppressor for every kill and a mangler didn't spawn until round 11. That was all in a single game

As far as I know, every time I've done the LF EE, it will always spawn both a Mangler and an Abomination during the LTG steps. Whichever you don't get 1st will be the 2nd boss.

You can pick up the canister the instant you build the device. I usually grab it on my way to start the portal timer and drop it near the entrance to the graveyard, that way I can pick it up quick and place it in the trap as the boss spawns.

I knew Aetherella was gonna come in at some point. I use the transform as I go into final boss to basically skip phase 1 and into phase 2 with zero risk and massive points gain. Excited to see how it is used in the 2nd half of this run

Just finished the EE for this map myself tonight. Definitely enjoyed doing it compared to my experiences with zombies easter eggs in the past, although I did have to look up some parts that I had no chance of figuring out. Been playing since Blops 1, and while I get some criticisms the new era has, I am SO over easter egg steps that either require someone training a zombie for 15 minutes or trying to find the most obscure item on the map in order to progress the egg. Never really liked doing Easter Eggs in the past, but I'm enjoying them now. Looking forward to trying out Terminus and hoping that map isn't too rough for me to figure out, haha.

so one thing i realized is that, on terminus if you activate Rampage Inducer and stay in the first room area (the prision cells and where peck and Strauas is) you can get the parasites to spawn in way way later. im talking round 10 instead of round 4/5. Which could help somewhat with setup for the EE on said map!

The times are gonna get better. freckleton spawned with a tomohawk on terminus with the augment that increases movement speed from utility kills and it makes you go so fast he saved alot of movement time. thats an easy time save in this run if he switches to doing that.

The reason why you have to place to LTG a 2nd time even though you duped it is because the game will softlock you with a duped canister. So you let the LTG fail on the 2nd lockdown, then place the duped canister in the machine to prevent a softlock. In order to dupe the canisters, you have to interact by placing the canister in the machine and drop it at the same time.

One thing I noticed playing liberty is that the groundskeeper spawned for me an I wasn't even killing zombies at the cemetery, matter fact I was training in the bowling alley/bank entrance and just happened to head over to pap and he just spawned. So maybe you don't need to be in the cemetery in order for him to spawn or maybe he comes up every few rounds and roams the cemetery, idk but I know for a fact that I wasn't there and he showed up
