We were just kids back then, what did we know? We thought they were the greatest ever, and then Paul sang "Yesterday" alone on the stage during Ed Sullivan's TV Show. That moment is when we KNEW they were the GOAT.

How cool is it that we see the span of generations enjoying the music of my time...truly a band/music for all times. Love to see the emotion on people's faces remembering the pure joy and talent of Paul and the Beatles.

If you just like music you like any music (except for kpop of course). Sometimes i hear norwegian black metal, then some classical 70s 80s stuff, then some orchestral compositions, then some rap. We live in crazy times.

Paul was just as great on his own. When the pivotal Beatles albums were being created most professional observers noticed Paul was doing most of the work. Lennon was sort of becoming too full of himself as some sort of weird social philosopher. George was merely Okay. Ringo is a damn good drummer.

Greatest lyrics duo in history..Simply the greatest Lennon and McCartney..I was very lucky the day I was walking up the street with my shoeshine box looking to make enough money to get in that long line to buy the first Beatle record. It was 1964 and I was 13.I finally made the 59 cents and jumped in the back of the long line.About 45 ,mins later I made it to the register where they had 3 45 rpm records of I want to hold your hand left.To my surprise the flip side was I saw her standing there.I played and played it.It was the day the world changed and I knew my generation was going to fix things..Wow.What memorys..
