Its funny how Stephen is portrayed as very slow in the series, even though it was claimed that the rocket achieved a top speed of 30 mph, which is actually incredible considering his age. That is actually faster than most British diesel shunters lmao.

The 0 series shinkansen only has a top speed of 137 mph, so Kenji is not faster than Etienne, and second of all, Etienne is an electric locomotive like Kenji, just he runs at a weird electrification system (1500 volt dc OHL), the fastest bullet train in the world (that actually runs on wheels) is the TGV duplex at 574 km/h, but there are maglevs that are faster than it(instead of wheels, maglevs float on a concrete guideway using powerful superconducting magnets,)Kenji though is the fastest multiple unit train in the series (multiple unit means all cars are powered( in Kenji's case a 4-16 car permanently coupled trainset)

30:04 I've especially wanted to mention that I personally think that you've forgotten to specifically include Stephen who's basically considered to be exactly based on the famous locomotive designed by Robert Stephenson himself known as the Stephenson's Rocket for the legendary Rain Hill Trials in 1829 respectfully to win a certain £500 price as well as to gain a contract to build locomotives for the U K's very own official Liverpool & Manchester Railway where he beat 4 other locomotives with a certain recorded @ a precisely stated approximately 30 MPH top speed as I've specifically done some observation-takin' research 'bout his own official locomotive basis from my Smithsonian train book multiple times before with my own eyes very closely! In other words for another fact, there's a certain replica of the famous locomotive designed by Robert Stephenson himself known as the Stephenson's Rocket that was basically built 15 decades later with official brakes that the original version didn't have back then SINCE proper brakes certainly HADN'T been invented yet! You forget that Hank was originally proposed to be the Union Pacific's Challenger locomotive, the locomotive to match Sam, the Virginian 2-6-6-6, and would be the fastest up to date at up to 70 mph, even when hauling freight and passenger services. But, they had to stick to reality, as American locomotives couldn't stick to British railways as being, "too heavy", and probably "too much American", as the series already had Rosie on their railway.
