I like the thought that Mrs. Claus helps to organize, woth a more business-minded approach, while Mr. Claus is the more jolly one. Not that Mrs. Claus is stern or mean, just that she is less distracted. They both love the children of the world who they deliver presents to. Maybe they never could have children, which is why they care so much. While Mr. Claus is the one who makes things jolly and comes up with ideas, Mrs. Claus is the reason their dreams come true. Maybe Mr. Claus is good at wood carvings and painting, and Mrs. Claus is good at sewing and baking, so they make the perfect balanced couple to deliver toys and Christmas cheer. As the video said...she's an eccentric girl boss, and she's full of Christmas cheer and love for the children of the world :)

Mrs. Claus was absolutely PEAK in “A Year Without a Santa Clause”. She, along with Jingle and Jangle Bells, literally marched up to Snow Miser, Heat Miser, and Mother Nature herself to help revive the Christmas Spirit in both the world and in Santa (if I’m remembering the movie correctly-). She ate and left no crumbs in that movie, I swear.

11:48 Considering I USED to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and have WATCHED this episode before (Mickey Saves Santa from Season 1). I can confirm Mrs. Claus looks pretty gorgeous in this. I mean she's taller THANK her husband (MMC Santa is a short king). She's got that sweet grandma look to her, and she was literally the one to go and search for someone to help her husband. The problem is that she doesn't suffers from the CGI from the early days of MMC where it looked rather off for the others.

19:09, bit of a fun fact about that, a majority of Han’s Christian Anderson’s (writer of the little mermaid) stories are based off of himself and his own experiences. The ugly duckling being based on his childhood, the little match girl based on his memories of winter, and the little mermaid representing his love life. So if we were to cast a little mermaid based on who the character was based on it would be a man who probably likes men. John Stewart(Green Lantern) met Mrs. Claus once on Christmas Eve. She was delivering presents in Santa’s place while he broke into Apokolips to deliver coal to Darkseid(this happens every year). John, when he discovered that it was actually Mrs. Claus, used it as a further excuse for his belief that Santa wasn’t real, because none of his presents had ever had Santa’s name on them. Mrs. Claus hugged him and revealed that almost all of his presents were from Santa and they wrote his mom’s name on every single one, because they were poor and he deserved to believe in his mom more than Santa Claus. Mrs. Claus is also part of the Blue Lantern corps, who symbolize hope. You get into the BL by either having a lot of hope in your heart, or being able to inspire great hope. Long story short, DC Mrs. Claus is wonderful.

"The little mermaid isn't based off a real person" Athena you should absolutely look up the background of that. She's based off the her author's unrequited love with his friend after he got engaged. He was publicly a disaster bi (i think but either way he was queer of some sort) who did not know how to behave around his crushes so it was an open thing. So because of that apparently everyone knew who the little mermaid was about when it was released. It's why og Little Mermaid has a sad ending where she dies and Eric doesn't fall in love with her.

When we decorated for Christmas, my mom found the Christmas gift I kept in the box exactly how I received it when I was a child. I had asked my mom that year if we could put something out for Mrs Claus because I said I felt bad that Santa got treats all night but she didn’t get any. So we did. We baked brownies and cut them in Christmas shapes and wrapped the plate with them on it in cling wrap (so he could travel back with them) and then I wrote a note saying they were for her. My mom took the plate (hid it then gave it to a nice neighbor I believe?) and my dad went to a place still open and got me a musical Christmas box and put some plush snowmen in it. One green one pink. Then wrote from Santa thanking me for thinking of Mrs. Claus and how happy she was. They put it where I had put the plate to really sell it. Honestly made my Christmas that year. I kept it safe and pristine. I pulled them out on bad days to listen to the music and just look at them XD

Finally, someone had the guts to say this! I actually feel like the kids should see Mrs. Claus first. She can help calm the kids down and offer them cookies and comfort before they meet Santa himself since, from my perspective, she represents the calmness, warmth, and coziness of Christmas. Say for example you were caught in the worst snowstorm of the season. You can barely see your hands in front of your face and think it might be over for you. But suddenly, you see a light in the distance. As you get closer, you see at least three more lights and smoke from a chimney. "Sanctuary at last!" you say to yourself and you rush over to see a little wooden cabin. You knock on the door and a kindly grandmother figure opens the door, welcomes you in, and offers you hot drinks, blankets, and a seat by the fireplace. That’s what Mrs. Claus is to me. And speaking of Barney, I’m surprised you never mentioned Jeanne Cairns’ take on the role in Waiting for Santa. I know she didn’t do much in the special, but she holds a place in my heart for introducing me to the concept of Mrs. Claus in the first place. She was calm of voice, sweet of heart, and very helpful, especially to Derek. God bless her and may she rest in peace. Still, I agree that Mrs. Claus needs more love. Merry Christmas to you!
