His poor brain was. The doctors that did his autopsy were astounded at how bad it had gotten, it was by far one of the worst cases any of them had ever seen. I love how Pierce isn’t fake about any of this. He’s very real about his relationship or lack there, following the film, with Robin. The others though. I love how pierce made it a point to ask if they kept in touch and Mara went on about how she only bumped into him ONCE. And how Lisa goes on and on about how hugely he impacted her. And maybe he did, but I hate when people try to make it seem like they are special by being so “close” with someone who passed away. Speaking about them like they actually KNEW him. It’s why I appreciate Pierce. He only spoke of when they filmed but was also honest about not knowing him well. Thanks for being real Pierce 👏🏽
@adeliacunningham76206 жыл бұрын
The comment may be a bit unfair. The three were still kids/young adults when they filmed Mrs Doubtfire, and undoubtedly had more time with him on set. Those are formative years for them, and somebody who makes an impression on them sticks. Pierce was an adult by then, and he made James Bond films, so Mrs. Doubtfire may not be the highlight of his career. It most likely is for the other three, so let them appreciate what it meant for them. Everyone has a different relationship/story, it is not a competition.

Totally get it. I was speaking more in general about people and what I’ve seen people do when someone passes. One of my childhood movies. I remember being 5 years old, and seeing this movie with family at a packed movie theater. Once it came out on VHS, I watched it all the time. Whenever I had to spend a day or 2 at my grandparents or cousins house, and I was told to pack me stuff. I had one small bag, I put in almost all my Disney movie including Mrs. Doubtfire. It was fun times. Thank you to Robin Williams and the rest of the cast and crew for creating a classic.

This was such a pleasure to watch. What great people those kids turned out to be! I was 13 when this movie came out. Our youth group went to see this at the movie theater. We all loved this movie so much. This is still one of those movies which is entertaining no matter how many times I watch it. From Birdcage, to Bicentennial Man, to Aladdin, to Mrs. Doubtfire, Robin was such a versatile actor. I guess I will never understand why some people are so sad but he did the best he could and entertained so many people.

@ Michelle M. Did you notice that you spelled her last name with an 's' and this has now been a M E to her last name not having an 's' ever? I am stumped too. I notice a few in the comments spelling it without an s -Field instead have I remebered her name always being spelled as Sally Fields just like you wrote. Hmmmm

My heart still aches and I still cry to this day over Robin's passing. But when I'm not doing well, I've had dreams about him where he's either making me laugh or I get to thank him for all the light he has brought into my life. I like to believe those dreams are really him and I connecting in the astral field. Either way, he still impacts my life in such a positive way to the point that just dreaming about him makes me happy and feel better. I'm so in love with him and I think I always have been since I was very little.
