Great video! Bravo - so well done! I lived in SF for nearly 10 years and this brings back so many memories. I used to pass the house on Steiner almost every day on my way to work! I also used to walk past Daniel's new place on Green all the time on my way to one of my favorite bars, Grant & Green! The TV station Daniel worked at was actually KTVU in Oakland near Alameda. Robin and Sally came out to wave to everybody and to shake some people's hands I got to shake. Robin Williams. He was very a nice man. He was excellent. I will never forget that movie. I liked The Survivors from 1983 but nobody seems to remember that movie, it's about a couple of guys played by Robin and Walter Matthau who lose their jobs and join a militia group of doomsday preppers led by Jerry Reed (Snowman from Smokey & The Bandit). I've never seen anyone do reactions or filming locations for it, or even mention it when they talk about Robin Williams' movies, everyone mentions Popeye then skips straight to his 1990s films. It was filmed in Lake Tahoe, New York and Vermont.

Surely I'm bias having grown up in the '90s & '00s, but I must say they really don't make 'em like they used to (movies, that is). With such extreme oversaturation of entertainment "content" as well as the social, cultural, and corporate constraints in film making being so strict (ie. stifling), gems like Mrs. Doubtfire (and stars like RW) are almost impossible to develop. Or they're simply lost and forgotten about as soon as the next 15 minute dopamine hit gets released. Is it really still possible to have true "classics" anymore? Is it even important? Okay, okay, I'm a whining "90's kid" nostalgia-craving 'member-berry Millennial, but stilllllll........... And again, I'm bias, but it seems like so many aspects (not all!) of our culture and everyday life in general was, dare I say...better before the Internet completely took over and 9/11 hadn't happened? Eek! I'm digressing way off topic now- I shall shut up! 😅 Anyway, I always love a good Then&Now nostalgia trip - really nice job on this one! Thx ✌
