@braveheartthecommentor58053 жыл бұрын
Not really the premise is in the movie it's just taken light heartedly as a family movie. if this was an abusive parent on top of the story of wanting to be near the kids it would be even more horrifying.the fact in the movie that he's not a bad man and she's denying him contact makes it acceptable because fathers love there children to .also it's robin Williams he just does whatever he wants

Mrs. Doubtfire in particular , ive memorized this entire movie and it's characters lines . It will always bring tears to my eyes knowing this incredible person is gone . It may sound bazaar because hes a stranger but hes always been special and brought laughter ... A genius whos incrediblly quick witted. So much of this film is improvised by Robin Williams, Columbus would have Williams do the scene as the script was written 1 or 2 then agreed to allow Williams yo then do the scenes with his own improvisation and basically we get his incredible mind and ideas in majority of this film. Columbus filmed each scene with three cameras because he wasn't sure what to expect from Robin but wanted to get it all and gilmed the movie as more of a documentary style. Columbus said it was " magical" ... A true artist who has mastered his craft . What a lost :(

I've never seen Mrs. Doubtfire, but it is quite hard to believe that it is in fact NOT a horror movie.

The horror is living in a world where mothers taking their children away from their fathers is seen as normal and enforced by the law.

Man, the scene with Mrs Doubtfire on the TV has more of a Saw vibe with this music playing.

That was awesome! The whole premise of the movie, and the Mrs. Doubtfire drag disguise really is creepy, in my opinion, so this take on the movie is very appropriate. Well done!

This movie would've worked better as a horror movie, but in San Francisco, this is perfectly normal behavior.

Saw it as a kid and thought it was a comedy. Not so sure about that anymore.

It's amazing how much the background score, use of jump cuts and other editing techniques can completely change the tone and meaning of a film

I would have watched this. Robin Williams was always creepy in the movies he did that were supposed to be creepy. One Hour Photo where he stalks that family? Oh boy did I get the shivers!

Everyone talks about Williams' comic talent, but he was also amazing at doing psychos.

anakinfan12002 It's a movie with Al Pachino and Robin Williams directed by Christopher Nolan. Williams is the bad guy in it, and does a damn good job of it.

Mrs. Doubtfire re-edited as a horror movie for some reason makes me wanna see a horror film version of the movie.

And now someone should rework the whole movie. Add a horror soundtrack. Edit the scenes and make an actual horror story out of it.

I was trying so hard not to laugh too loud and wake up my girlfriend. Omg the part where he pops up with the stuff all over his face. I think even Robin would find this extremely hilarious. Thanks for making me cry tears today. Wow pro editing job.
