I like the idea of this box. My mom was an avid quilter, but I prefer garment making. I give my scrap fabric to the quilting group at my church, who make quilts for charity. But this subscription box intrigues me! xo Annette in Michigan

I’ve signed up. Thank you. I just started my first quilting lesson on Tuesday. Doing a 5 week course and this is just what I need for inspiration. Great you can stop and start it too. Thanks

I subscribed in Dec and received my first just before Christmas. As yet I have not started on the projects but the magazine is a good source of inspiration. I can’t wait to start quilting and look forward to seeing your projects made up 😊

I love quilts and the patterns, but a quilt is just a bigger project than I feel like taking on! I have patterns for mini quilts which I plan to do "sometime!" I really enjoy paper crafts, which seems to get first place. And my recent sewing has been for my new baby grand girl! I love your channel! Thanks for sharing your life with us! Hugs!

Ohhh looks interesting Rachel. I'm just in the process of finishing my 2nd larger quilt, but like you I don't quite have the vision to choose fabrics and design so for my first quilt I bought quilt pack which had all the topper fabrics and instructions, and my 2nd one is from a club that I am in. Both of these came with the topper fabrics and how to make your blocks. In both cases there was no batting/wadding or backing fabric. I think this is fairly normal. Look forward to your creations.

Interesting. I think if it was a quilt as you go block each month with the batting and backing so that you ended up with a beautiful quilt for the bed at the end of it that would be amazing 🤩

I’m a quilter for 30+ years and must say that having your fabric color choices decided upon is a lovely thing. Beware, quilting is addicting. 😎

I would have liked Mrs Qultry in the days when I did patchwork full time. Now. Have a lot of wips and enough stash to start a shop. But the concept is great. I hope you dive in and get started with patchwork.

Looks good but I prefer to support UK companies.

I love this box! Your review was great. I’d love it if they included all the finishing fabric but the cost would probably double!

Sometimes I arrive in my little sewing room with no clear idea of something to do, hum and hah a bit and then leave again. A project like you showed, Rachel, might just give me a nudge...

Not knowing what project the customer will choose would make it impossible to provide the backing and wadding. When I make a bed quilt I prefer my wadding to be one piece versus pieced. I then use what are the cut off extras for small projects like placemats.

Seems good value, thanks Rachel, I’m not a quilter I prefer bag making. We’ll see 😊

Hi Rachel Karen from Karen sews slowly has also reviewed this subscription and has found a couple of errors in the instructions when she made the place mat. It might be worth you watching her latest vlog. X

Listening to you, sounded just like me. I can't visualise either with fabric for quilting. Interesting but worried about projects being boring

Awesome, would love to get the subscription, but the exchange from Canada is 69 cents on the dollar. Which makes it to pricey for me.

Yes, I'm Canadian and I found out the hard way about the exchange rate between the Canadian dollar and the British pound.

If you subscribe in the UK it doesn't arrive until around 2wks after USA get there's. Let's be honest it takes longer getting here!

Not to be a Debbie Downer but. I've heard many people say that the fabric is poor quality. And I do know that the ruler they provide is on the cheaper end of quilting rulers and most people don't like them.

Rachel, I’m looking forward to hearing what you think of the materials after you use them. I may purchase after I see your project!
