You're actually right when you said that Filipinos used singing as a form of therapy. Whenever we are sad or lonely, or even heartbroken, we tend to sing our hearts out. And that's one thing that makes Filipino and its culture unique. We always pour every ounce of emotion in our singing session because that's how we heal ourselves. Though you may find us singing in unusual occasion like funeral, singing has been engraved in our tradition and forever will be there.

Filipino Malls or Grocery Stores sell karaoke machine, microphone, TV, and speaker and when people pass by those appliances or music equipment, then they can test the product. Sometimes, there is a salesperson next to the products, then, he/she will offer to the people to try singing using their mic to test their products. Hehehe
@mhiletyap9211Ай бұрын
karaoke stuff are normally selling and promoting them in some grocery stores, shopping malls, department stores and is free to sing whoever wants to sing...it's somewhat like helping the salesman to promote his company products...and i think Filipinos are really born to be singers because even when were on our mother's womb our mother's is either putting headphones in her tummy or is always listening to music and at birth music is always in our background and mother's always sings to us while putting us to sleeps and i guess that's why we have lots of singers here in our country...thank you for admiring Filipinos for our talents

We Filipinos love singing ballads, and most sing in a choir of some form, either on school or church, so we really do get practiced all the time. Most families have their own karaoke/videoke at home and sing every Sunday at least. We have singing contests during festivals every year. It's really in our culture to sing. ❤❤❤

omg the little kid singing "one moment in time" reminded me so much of the time we performed a duet for a talent show in our school here in the philippines. I was 10 and my duet (both of us were young boys singing the song in the original pitch as well) was 11 but ofc we lost to a senior who I have seen multiple times when I audition for tv talent shows like the Voice or TNT. She always passes those but never got called back due to how many people audition for them.

I’m a Filipino so I should thank you for praising our citizens who can sing you see on tiktoks and yt but I think that the only reason our Filipino singers are well known is because they are fond of tiktoks and youtubes.. i am sure that there are also a lot of good singers from other countries who can sing that good and maybe even better but are not just being appreciated because they are not published in any platform. America has produced so much very good singers and songwriters also. Please do not over rate us because it is not fair to other nationalities. We do not have the monopoly of the best singers. Do not flatter us. We all love to sing but not everyone is exceptional. Sometimes, i cringe at the praises vloggers like you shower upon us. Thank you.. but try to give others credit they also deserve.
