Every time I watch one of your teaching videos, I am reminded of a Hallmark plaque I was given in the late 80's when I became a teacher. It said *"A teacher has a special way of making learning fun/ Finding joy in every day and the best in everyone!"* That is YOU, in physical form! You go all out for the kids and they thrive because of it!

I am loving the new format to your videos. It will make it easier for me to go back to rewatch when I need a model. I am definitely going to watch this again to try to build a reading routine for my 4th graders.

Thank you! I thought for first week/first time routines it would be helpful. I'm going to mix in these throughout the year with weekly and daily vlogs!

Love that I could introduce that to you! If you get a chance to visit RCA, you'll meet Korey Collins! That's his "talk about it" "I got you" 🥰💛

You are doing such a good job! I’m so impressed! Would it be possible to film a few transitions, i.e. lining up, toilet run, moving from carpet to flexible seating and vice versa, etc. Not the perfect picture but how it really happens? Or is this too difficult to do because you need to blur the kids out?

Is the skill the same each week? Like when you are writing “Readers think about characters” “Readers see patterns” are those always the same?

Do you have a reading curriculum you use that has a weekly story? Or are your read alouds what you use for your reading curriculum?
@sherrifry5218 күн бұрын
I was wondering the same thing. We're required to use our curriculum with fidelity. I would love to use engaging, and more appropriate read alouds. Giraffes Can't Dance is one of my favorites!
