This is truly a beautiful work of art! I’d like to ask how you manage to keep each strand of hair as a separate object without using dynamesh, while also achieving such seamless blending at the intersections. How do you keep each strand neatly aligned and prevent them from interfering with each other when using brushes like smooth or claybuildup? Thank you very much for your time!
@MRScapsule59 минут бұрын
Many thanks for your support!!! 💕 we had the same doubt as you for a long time and we basically were working with dynamesh at the beginning (and honestly, many times is better than to work with subdivisions, it depends of the hair shapes). Just need patience: the best way for creating hair in subdivisions is to make a strand composition in low poly, then to add subdivisions levels (until 6). You can start to create strokes in the level 4 o 5, and to use Move topological (in case you have all the strands in the same subtool) for improving the shapes. Try to smooth the surface just in the subvision 6, because in lowered ones the smooth brush will retract the mesh and will create weird shapes. Maybe the second video of Gojo shows better this process =) =D if you have more doubts, leave another comment, it's a pleasure to be helpful 🙌🏻

Awesome. How’d you give thickness to your clothings after use subdivs for sculpt high details and folds at 4:18 ? ty
@MRScapsule56 минут бұрын
hi!! many thanks for watching! we add thickness just when the model is totally finished and we know that will not change the basic shapes. Basically we use Morph target for that process, it's pretty easy, would you like to see a video about it?
