What a great video, hilarious, but informative. I'm equally shocked by the Mizuno, never been on my radar. But am definitely going to research and try it. I've been gaming TM for the last 12 years, and I never gain anything more with new ones. In fact, some of the newer ones have been disasters for me on launch and distance. Time to look at Mizuno, and Wilson.

Dope video ! We have all been waiting for something like this. That Yonex is 🔥 !!!! Reminds me of Honma with the vizard shafts. Love the japanese brands. I played Honma years ago and posted about it on Twitter. The Wallstreet journal contacted me and was doing a big article on japanese expensive golf clubs. They called me and long story short i made the journal. I framed it and put it in my golf room. Amazing experience

Yonex is Japanese and I play with their Ezone 98 tennis racquet because it is the best all-around performer for me. I also use other tennis racquets depending on the conditions and opponent abilities. But when the going gets tough or I lose my feel, the Yonex is the only one I use. I also found a Yonex blde demo iron on ebay and it is LOVELY!! The large majority of golf clubs I have owned and played with, the Japanese carbon clubs are the best.

Ever since I got a set of Mizuno JPX 923 forged irons a couple weeks (LOVE them) I’ve been looking at mizuno stz drivers on eBay.. and I don’t even need a freakin driver.. well I seen this and just pulled the trigger on one before the run starts. Looks like the best kept secret and value on the market.

I love my mizuno irons. The hybrid took some work getting used to but now I dig it. I've never even tried the driver bc I'm afraid I'll love it too and slowly end up with a single-brand bag...I'll hate myself if that happens. lol

I play the z230. Been a mizzy top of the bag player since the ST190 release. Easily the most underrated woods manufacturer on the market - both pound for pound and pound for dollars. Club is absolute money in the feel, sound, distance, and PRICE categories.

I'm a total Mizuno guy irons and woods, I play the STZ myself, while honestly it's no better or worse than any other driver I feel exactly the same as you it a lot of club for the money. It is a solid driver and I think many people sleep on it, if you hit it you will quickly fall in love.

I play a srixon zx5 mk2 driver and also have a LS head .. our swing speed are pretty much the exact same and I CAN NOT hit the LS head to save my life 😂

Yonex is slept on as a brand in the US. My tour ADX irons with the stock (Yonex) graphite shafts are the most consistent clubs I own.

Yonex has their own carbon nanotube composite that only Graphite Design is also using for their CQ shafts. They've been a top tier tennis racquet brand and have otherwise been big in Japan for golf equipment. Glad to see them in the states, but hate their cringey product names and aesthetics. Love that sound though. I'm most excited for Cobra and their FF33. Their gear looks incredible this year and I hope they take a lot of market share.

Of all the Drivers I've played with over the years, I have found the best loading with the XXIO & Srixon Drivers, like butter for me; I do have a Cleveland HiBore & XL which are decent performers and Callaway Fusion which is hit & Miss. I always go back to my Srixon & XXIO.

I owned in the late 90s one of the ugliest drivers with the worst sound ever, a Mizuno hot metal et driver. I got them from a pro who made 5 shots with them before putting him in my bag. The unique sound told everybody over miles that I'm on the golf course. Man, i loved this driver! I won championships with him, carded course record rounds and drove nearly every fairway.. Mizuno clubs are top level! Not only the beautiful irons, also the ugly drivers in the past performed well. Maybe i will take such a stz in my bag.. Nice video! Cheers

yes owned and bagged one all season handicap went from 36 to 17. average drive was 256. i love it, it goes straight and far, good spin rate as well. just broke the shaft last week already odered another, have qi10 and rogue st ls in reserve, like the mizuno much better. the rogue st LS is a close second, same forgiveness, but mizuno is 14 yards longer for me.

I'm just back from Thailand. You should see what the Japanese guys are playing. Not sure of the make, probably Honma but with iridescent heads and iridescent shafts. I'll bet you wouldn't get any change out of $3000 for those or even more.

Some of the Japanese stuff isn't exported. Brands like Itobori make some pretty crazy looking stuff. Mind you, golfing there is a rich man's sport. $20k+ for a bag full is nothing compared to memberships.
