Hi 👋 Mrs M. Great video. I always had a little trick for getting my lashes to hold a curl. When you've finished all your coats of the mascara, blast them gently with a hair dryer on warm setting, so lashes are blown gently upwards. As they cool, blink along your finger , blinking slowly, and push lashes up with length of your finger as it passes over them. You will be surprised xxx

Lol I do this also it really does work every now and then during the day I take my ring finger and I push up my upper lashes and hold them for like maybe 5 seconds it helps with the curl and lift 💄🥰

I was using thrive until I tried Tower 28. It holds a curl, lengthens and does not clump. i am almost 70 and have used tons of mascaras Tower 28 is the real deal!

I bought a tube of Thrive mascara. Too bad it flakes and schmears on my lower lashes. Their brow pencil isn’t too bad but I’ll stick to Kiss’ “Top Brow”. It’s in pencil and pot form - pomade?

Hi Melissa you look FANTASTIC!I have found that if I apply a lash primer,and then apply mascara when primer is damp I get great results.I use a disposable mascara wand and brush on primer and mascara from the products wand instead of wiping the tip to avoid clumping.This method gives you just enough product and it’s buildable.I thank you for the gift , but I’m not no Facebook and can’t text to get gift.You still continue to motivate me and I’m so grateful for that!❤️💕

I want to say thank you so very much as well, because you are one of only 2 KZbin makeup video creators that have ever responded to my comments. You do so quickly & before I ever subscribed to your channel. I wanted to share that I have been using the Wet N Wild Mega Length mascara in a skinny purple tube, for the past several years-waterproof but it comes off well but doesn't flake or smudge all day (no go in my book). It had the best small comb like brush. I just picked up the regular formula (same brush as waterproof) & the volume one (not opened the tube yet so I do not know about the brush) too but haven't had a chance to try either in a long wear test. I tried the covergirl lash bladt mascara in the orange tube, waterproof, but I hated it because that would not come off no matter what I tried for like 3 or 4 DAYS. It was great for my kiddo though because no matter what one we tried, they melted off in 30-45 minutes & why bother. Rimmel (2 in a pack for $4.45) & maybelline great lash, both waterproof & not, must have changed formulas because they used to all be great long lasting, no flake or smudge, but they now do that within about 1-2 hours. I have been looking for a thin mascara like I used in high school (many years ago), think liquid eyeliner consistency. Do you have anyny idea who has a formula like that these days? No one I know has a direction to point me in, so I'm hoping you or any of your followers do. Thank you in advance. God Bless All Y'all 🙏🇺🇸🙏

Thanks for telling me about the Wet & wild. I'll look for it. Just a thought about your Mascara that you want like a liner. What if you used a liquid liner tube on a Mascara Wand you clean or keep in a Mascara tube. Maybe you could find a Waterproof liner? It might be worth a shot. Have a great weekend

Hey Melissa! Such a great look for you today! I was so disappointed by about thirty different mascaras over the years that I totally quit using it for a few years. I wear self-darkening glasses and have always maintained social distancing, so I figured, "Who cares?" Nobody even sees my face close enough to tell. I've had rosacea with ocular affect for many years, and my lashes are babyfine, short and sparse, and so short on my deep-set eyes, I couldn't get a curler on them if I wanted to. I haven't even looked at mascara since Almay's One Coat many years ago. Maybelline's Full and Soft (non-waterproof) was ok when it first came out and I used it through two tubes - exciting for me! - but I lost interest when the rosacea kept flaring up. So imagine my surprise to finally find one that I really like! I picked up Revlon's Ultimate All in One (non-waterproof) for $4.49 at Marshalls a couple of months ago, just out of bored curiosity, and I'm a convert! The product itself is very dark black and doesn't flake or smudge with all my eye area prep - eye primer, eye moisture milky balm under my eyes before color corrector and creamy concealer, powder to set it all - this mascara stays put! And seems to wash off very easily with just my creamy cleanser. But the real magic for me is the applicator: it's a small silicone-type brush, but it's very small - about a half-inch long - and shaped more like an oval paddle than a brush. The bristles are almost non-existent, and the "brush," if you could call it one, has a hollow reservoir in the middle of it that holds enough of the smooth creamy product to last throughout the entire application - one coat - to both upper lashes. (I've never done mascara on my lower lashes.) I don't need to use a toothpick or safety pin to separate my lashes, and I've been using a hollow straw-type of coffee stirrer to push up my lashes when the mascara is still damp for a curled effect. No smears on my upper eyelids yet! So anyway, I love this mascara so much I went back to Marshalls the other day and grabbed the two remaining ones, so I don't need to go on a mascara safari again before next Spring. I don't think this mascara got very good reviews or much attention at all bc it came to market while Revlon was sliding into bankruptcy and people were buying every other brand of makeup out there except Revlon. I'm very happy with it, and I never thought I'd say that about a mascara. Thank you so much for your diligence and such a focused and well-presented video. I'll put this on my rewatch list, so I know what to look for when my new love is gone and just is not being sold anymore.

Makeup geek has a lovely formula, great hour glass brissilly but soft brush tip, long wand, and some kind of magic stopper that pulls excess product off the brush as it is coming out of the tube. They are on sale at the moment, and gone when sold out, but I highly recommend trying and perhaps stocking up on a few if its a win, which for me it was! I notices as well that the amount of product is slightly more than most mascaras on the market. I have tried many now, that just dont hold a candle to this one! Great video! Love the blow dryer tip. I use a eyelash curler that is similar to a hair curler. It gets warm and you can brush through your lashes. Didn't get too hot.

Thanks for reviewing ALL of thes mascaras, Melissa! BTW, your hair is gorgeous! I wanted SO badly to love the Thrive tubing mascara. Unfortunately, it flakes on me. 😢 My favorite is the Lancôme Lash Idôle. I love the way it lengthens, I love that I can apply as much as I need without it ever clumping, I love the wand/brush. I wish it was less expensive, but I just buy the travel size for $13, and it lasts me 3 months, which is when you should throw away mascara anyway.
