Thank you for posting the video, I have the same machine, it was my Grandmother's, it's in a cabinet though. She taught me to sew using this model when i was a teenager, I'm 54 now. When she passed away suddenly in 2003 I inherited it and think of her with a smile and fond memories. I have used it multiple times since but in the beginning I was a novice, now I'm intermediate and have learned a lot but still a lot to go. During this Covid-19 pandemic my family requested masks to be made by me, I've been making them but ran into problems with the thread/tension, that's where I need more expertise so I appreciated your video, overall you did a great job but the things I will notate are: 1.) Be better prepared, it's a bit frustrating. 2.) You threaded it incorrectly, I just checked the manual, I thought maybe I was doing it wrong all this time so I found my manual and that's what I found out. 3.) Using a solid color fabric to show the stitches would have been helpful. 4.)Thanks again for your friendly and educational video! :)

I have the same machine. Bought it when I got married in 1975, and have used it on and off all these years. I've lately had been having some trouble with it, and have been researching to see if it's something I can fix on my own. Do you recommend a good stitch length? I enjoyed your video. Thank you.

My bobbin won't roll, so it can't catch the thread to sew

Thanks for your inquiry. Try a different bobbin. You may have the current thread wound too tight or too loose. Also it may not be compatible with the top thread; therefore, both threads may need to be the same. Keep troubleshooting. Let me know how you come out please.
