All "Official" Shortcuts in Mario Kart Wii!

In this video, I show all of the official shortcuts in the game, Mario Kart Wii. By official, I mean shortcuts that are widely used. Also, I didn't include any Ultra Glitch Shortcuts. By that I mean, I didn't include shortcuts that can cut off whole laps, such as the GV Rock Glitch, Coconut Mall glitch, Mario Circuit, etc. I will probably make these SCs in a different video if asked. Missed a couple; In WalIuigi Stadium, you can zipper where the Piranha Plants are to completely skip them. In Peach Gardens you can take the inside route by the squares in the top corners of the map at full speed and cut out more time. Also in Peach Gardens you can mushroom through the grass where the moles are.

I don't know what you mean by 'official'; half of these aren't really official e.g you just used mushrooms to cut across grass or terrain. Still a shortcut but unofficial not official. Official would be the ones the game specifically provides

Empoleon Blaze how easy a character is to get does not effect their utility

Each character has a natural speed boost added to the kart/bike they're driving. For example, Mario's is 0, but Funky Kong's and Daisy's are 4. I think Baby Daisy's is 4 as well, but she has less weight so people prefer using the other two.

In order to try 0:29 in actual races, You’d have to get a boost at the start Or If you have a mushroom, hold on to it until a new lap starts :)

If you us Quacker and jump over the grass you can bounce high enough to hit the second mushroom

In"green shell, peach beach" there's another shortcut: when you're going to the beach in the left there is a ramp that get you impulse.

Mario omg this is slower, as you get more air and you are taking tighter lines. The no-glitch WR doesn't use this.

CraftingMario64 its not really used much. If you have a mushroom, you'd usually use the rock hop or the glitch next to it instead.

Who's better? Mach Bike Daisy, Bullet Bike Baby Daisy or Flame Runner Funky Kong?

Well, depends. :D Mach Bike Daisy: Optimal for tight drifts, and speed. Disadvantage: A lighter character, therefore easier to bump around. Bullet Bike Baby Daisy: Sorry but I don't know about this combo. :( Flame Runner Funky Kong: Optimal for Speed, weight, and moderately tight drifts. Disadvantage: Drifts aren't as tight as Daisy, therefore you sometime might hit walls. But Funky with the Flame Runner is a slight bit faster than Daisy. Hope this helps :D

Bullet bike and Baby Daisy never. Toadette w/ Magikruiser, yeah, that's better, but only in N64 Sherbet Land and, if do you want, in GBA Shy Guy Beach. Daisy w/ Mach Bike is better in: Coconut Mall (w/Glitch), Wario's Gold Mine (w/Glitch), Daisy Circuit, Bowser's Castle (w/Glitch and w/o), N64 DK's Jungle Parkway(w/Glitch and w/o), SNES Mario Circuit 3 (EVER) and GCN DK's Mountains (w/Glitch and w/o). Then Funky Kong with Flame Flyer only in Rainbow Road if do you want to do the double shortcut at the start. Funky Kong w/ Torpedo: Luigi Circuit, Mario Circuit (w/Glitch and w/o), Moonwiew Highway, GCN Peach Beach (w/Glitch and w/o), GBA Shy Gut Beach if do you know how to use it. The remaining is for Funky Kong w/Bowser Bike

You performed 2 ultra shortcuts and a skip in the video, even though you said they weren't allowed. Skip on Bowser's Castle and Ultra on Ghost Valley 2 and Peach Beach. Oh and the rail skip on DK Jungle Parkway is technically a skip, which is kinda dumb, but it is.

Oliver Keast you seriously only found out about these now? Like. Really? Most players have known these since around 2010 to 2013. I could always beat my friends and family. Not because of glitches, but because a. They were noobs and used mario, standard kart on automatic. B. They used the wii wheel and I used the classic controller. My only friend who was any sort of a challenge was my best friend who played mkwii as much as me. We always had races so close that you would need a replay just to see who won. I would win a bit more by taking tight lines and getting some good late game green shell snipes, aswell as some good traps. A trap being a fib, banana, shell or bomb

You didn't even do the big Mushroom Gorge skip. Also, you can skip over both of the holes on Rainbow Road by doing a trick off the boost pad before that and immediately wheeling into another trick.

Brendan Hughes a lot of them are done in a way that looks different to the way you actually have to do them. Look up some tutorials, that's how I learned some more advanced once (I actually discovered the BCWii glitch and a couple others independently back in 2012, when I never watched many MKWii videos). EDIT: To clarify what I said, I didn't discover it, but I found it on my own after others had found it
