USSR "kinda" Loves Territory

Everyone knows why Germany invaded Poland at the beginning of World War II- they wanted territory, and, of course, to eventually invade the Soviet Union!
But WHY did the Soviet Union make a deal with Germany to split Poland in half? Why didn't the Soviet Union just make a DEAL with Britain, with France, with Poland and other countries?
Well, they tried to, but everyone's egos and fears got in the way. The Soviet's were afraid of Germany's eventual invasion of Soviet territory, and wanted to avoid this by putting military bases inside Poland and a few other eastern European countries. But Poland and friends weren't having that; they had a history with Russia that they simply could not look past, for understandable reasons (which we'll explore in another video!).
As a result... the Soviets had to make a deal with the devil. For the rest, you'll have to watch the video.

Well France uk and ussr knew they weren’t and were trying to demilitarize but Poland had a very weak and old military like France in ww1 and they couldn’t militarize as fast as a industrial power like France or Britain. What Germany did* was they started building “crop dusters, tractors, finishing boats, and enlisting police officers” instead of build “fighter planes, tanks, battleships, or enlisted infantry.” That’s actually why they didn’t know just how big Germanys military really was. That’s what Panzer and “Luffwaffle” means by the way 😂 And I’m not kidding, Chamberlain (UK Prime Minister) really believed Hitler was building farming equipment and industrializing his nation for the better. Evident by their 1938 meeting. That’s why when Germany invaded Poland in full force as they did everyone kind of pushed the panic button. So what I said wasn’t entirely inaccurate, it’s just no one expected Germany to have literally 6+ million active Solider’s and various personnel.

Like the Polish anthem moment. Poland is not weak, just unlucky. Being in the middle of Europe and being between Germans and Russians when they team up is well...hard. Especially when you regain Independence for just 22 years after not having it for 123 years, that's when The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth got riped apart by Tzar Russia, Hapsburg Austria and Prussia in 1795 after the III partition.

Why does Poland appear harmless? Why doesn’t the video say that Poland also participated in the division of Czechoslovakia and it did not allow the USSR troops to pass in order to save Czechoslovakia. In addition, the USSR did not immediately attack Finland; it offered to exchange territories larger than the Finns had.
