The reason people focus on the background in Outfit Challenges is because everyone uses almost the same outfit and players are pretty much forced to use those outfits to meet the Theme & Tag requirements. Also love the Fairy Build by Cress 6:08 and I didn't know we can those lights from the well 6:29

In my opinion the thing with the DreamSnaps is that the most important thing is the voting and the people is very irrational and erratic sometimes. Sometimes the people only vote for the 50 Moonstones and they don’t even analyze the image, sometimes the people vote for the best pic but sometimes they vote for the worst just for fun… there is the problem.

Or people get so literal with the themes and won’t give the more creative shots a chance.. if it doesn’t hit all the prerequisites and looks exactly like the banner then they don’t vote for it.. outfit challenges are the worry because everyone is trying to max out points that we all end up looking like hobos in pretty background.. 😂😂😂

If you look at all the submissions in the top 10 on Dreamer's Portal you can see most winning submissions are clear, rich with color, on theme, perfect layout with details and a just a few sparkles. Very few are the blinding shots and sparkles where you can't see any details of the surroundings. People will vote more for a clear, clean shot over one that is fuzzy full of flash.

what is the issue with the STAR path honestly? Because it was not to your liking, well we are all different. It is not my esthetic but other ones are, so what? I played, I collected the things because I might want them someday. Someday the people who didn't get the items will complain when maybe they wished they had them and then have to buy them with moonstones. Same with halloween, a great number of people don't do halloween or haunted stuff. I love Christmas things, but many don't. They cannot possibly make everyone happy all the time and there are to many LEGIT problems that should be complained about.

I agree. The timing of this theme may be odd, but it’s a fun one imo. I like the starpath items. My only complaints are that the fireworks and pyro boxes don’t last long enough to use in a dreamsnap. I couldn’t get them to stay on long enough for my rock show dreamsnap even double clicking the fireworks. I wish they worked like lights you could turn them on and they’d stay on until you turn them off.

It would also be nice if they added a button feature with dreamsnaps to activate all fireworks/pyrotechnics at the same time during camera mode..

Well, we could do outfit challenges with blank background and they would be judged just by outfits then. But I have no idea how to enforce it. Maybe if gameloft made it a requirement to not have any furniture in outfit challenges.

11:26 I definitely empathize with the poster here. I too prefer simple, not-flashy shots and so I don't always score the best. I wonder if making dreamsnaps a combined event with both outfit and decor elements like the Daisy challenges would be a better way going forward.

Dreamsnap is very flawed at the moment. I was reading the other comments below and I agree with the person, they said there's some people who doesn't care what they are voting for and just voted for the 50 moonstones, and there's people who voted for the lesser pic just for the fun of it, so that is one of the problems. I went in voting when I log in to DDLV this past week and I don't know how Gameloft do the algorthims for what picture to show me for voting but all of the pics they gave me to vote has been not in line with the theme, like it's a backpack one, but all I'm seeing is selfies or person in front view without a backpack or facing to the camera without a backpack either, I just kept skipping the votes, I did not see any good submission that is worthy to vote, I don't know what's going on with what they are giving me to vote for??? I totally agree with u, get rid of decor challenge or outfit challenge, and just make it an overall challenge, for example, Toy Story theme, so u go in Furniture mode and u see Dreamsnap section where the items qualify for the tags, and then u go to wardrope and there's Dreamsnap with clothing that qualify the tags, do a combination of decor and outfit. Do both of them and mix it up, instead of decor OR outfit. But they really do need to do a overhaul of voting and what to show us, and the whole tag thing, I personally think they need to increase the tag slightly, I see so many selfies that doesn't match the theme, yet it still qualifies to submit the submission? Starpath: It's not for my taste and I did get all the items that are in the free section, I did not pay Premium for it, and I'm OK with that, and I feel happy for those who are into Rock and Punk, and are delighted with what they are getting from the Starpath. Every single thing in life, can't please 100% of the population, that's not how it work. We all are different and we have different opinions, it's OK if people voiced that they don't like the Starpath, and it's also OK if people voiced that they love this Starpath. We all ranked the Starpath differently because we all are different people and have different preference, taste, aesthetic. Cress is amazing decorator, she have a video on her KZbin on how she made the mushroom rock! I gotta try that flower rectangle thing! I need to find an area for flowers to spawn naturally and keep it enclosed there, still got a lot of work do to in my Valley, and the Sunlit grass picture look beautiful! That also inspired me. Idk if anyone else knew about this trick but I ran across a video on tiktok of someone saying that if you put up those wooden shelves we got from eternity isle, put stuff on them, you then can place the glass front cupboards over them and see the stuff through the glass. Has anyone tried this or heard of it? Maybe I’m just out of the loop lol

Personally, when I begin my process for dreamsnaps I think Theme first. Then how can I make this my own? Then I add tags. Like with the backpack challenge I LOVE outer space...so I used Buzz's backpack and had fun building an Alien planet behind me. Idk I'll always say it please make sure you're having FUN when making your dreamsnap. The results will be what they are but the most important part to me is the memory behind making it.

I never see any good dreamsnaps when voting unfortunately, most of the ones i see have made no effort what so ever, nothing to do with the theme to the point i dont even no how on earth they have enough tags to submitt it. I skip and back out to much.

Its not impossible to judge a outfit. To do a outfit challenge they can make it were they have to stand in front of of the green screen item with no background showing and its just showing the outfit. Just have to code the game to make it where you need to be standing infront of the greenscreen or even a white wall in a house. People would complain about it but whats new, ya know

I have been over dream snaps for quite a while. I vote and I put minimal effort into my dream snap because I do not care anymore. I make sure I get the required tags and stick to the theme and then I move on. I do not care if all I get is 600.

It has to be the Black and White Flower Rectangle or the Blue, Green, and Purple Flower Rectangle. The other ones don't work, unfortunately.

the dreamsnaps voting is a joke. I get 2 awesome pics and I have to choose 1 or I get 2 horrible pics that have nothing to do with the challenge and I have to choose 1. Makes no sense. Basically dumping a great pic for a terrible one.
