I have to agree , though even if it is simplistic , the customizable talent of Retroarch is better and useful for users who want *pro stuff.* Besides , it has been some time since an update came to Lemuroid. Honestly, it's the best emulator for android. It looks pretty, it functions with nearly no effort, no ads, good controls. While Retroarch is fantastic on PC, I've never been able to manage getitng it working properly on my phone. It's always just such a slog to get it semi-functional. So till now, I've been using a bunch of individual emulators for each system. Some of which aren't great, have ads etc. Having everything have a matching UI and control scheme, plus the auto application of system filters is just 😩😩🙌🙌 Hopefully in the furture they get 3DS Citra support and (loftie goals) Aether SX2 support for a truly all in one on mobile.

Thanks a TON for letting us know about this amazing & simple emulator... watching the retro arch tutorials... I had understood that I will never be able to play retro games on TV or PC... this app works fine on Android TV as well... obviously, the graphics r pixelated but still, one can play them on TV... first the app was not detecting any of the game files...& i thought that this app is a waste but then as soon as I organized all the game files in one single folder & directed the emulator to search in that specific folder...BOOM....all of the games appeared & r running... now I am planning to add some more sega games

The app is really good, but honestly, I want a highly powerful emulator that had good UI. And I meant modern UI like Material You. Hopefully Lemuroid will someday get more advanced and optimized. Wish they had a place to submit feedback tho

@@cleanserious09 definitely worth the price. Be aware that there is currently an issue with Android 11 scoped storage though. It prevents you from browsing ROMs. I got it to work by transferring files to the Drastic folder on my internal storage. It seems kind of hit or miss though.

I really love this app, weirdest thing though, on the DS emulator I honestly find it runs smoother on 2x speed, but I encounter lag running it normally. Not a huge issue for me because I pretty much only use 2x but still a weird issue

Thanks for the video ! I tried it, it works great but has some flaws : - I can only set ONE path for the ROMs, but as I have some roms on the phone and others on the sd card, I can't access all of my ROMs, so it is a big flaw - it did not detect a single one of my arcade or neo geo roms, and I have thousands of those. I have several folders, one for CPS, one for MVS, one for the rest, doesn't matter, not a single ROM is detected. - there is a video filter set by default for each emulator, that I cannot turn off, as this video filter is checked by default as "none" in the video filters options. It is a very promising solution and if there was a way to correct the flaws I mentioned it would definitely be the ultimate emulator on Android !

I don't like the position of "setting button" at bottom-right, it's annoying and I'm always worried if I will push this button accidentally when playing games. And for other control button too. I hope I can move them more bottom, because the control button too high for my thumbs and it will cover some display too. But the other things are great. I know that NDS, PSP, and other new consoles can't run properly because my low spec phone. But I feel it more fun to play GBA or SNES in this emulator than other apps. And most important, I love the UI, very fresh and beautiful.

are you forced to use the app in portrait orientation or can it also be used in landscape? also can it run all the listed systems by default or is it just a compatibility list & you still need to supply the necessary files for it?

I just downloaded it and it can be used in either orientation, at least for GBA games, with the buttons slightly overlapping the screen in landscape (though you can see through them easily).

Works in landscape too. You have to supply your own ROMs for playing it. Nothing else is required , except an internet connection whenever a new update has been received and in the start.

I make a folder and I put a zipped pokemon emerald in it, and then on lemuroid I pick that very same folder containing Pokemon emerald, and it just doesn't seem to work for me. What am I doing wrong? I download from the site, move to a folder named "gba roms" and from there the issue happens. So I have no idea please help

Using Lemuroid to play Pokemon Platinum. After beating the Elite Four, then comes credits, and it goes to the cover at the start of the game. But when it tries to load, it will go to "communication error" notice of the Nintendo DS. And will turn to white screen. Does anybody know this kind of issue? I couldn't continue playing the game. If you want the cover art to show for all of the games, you will need to rename all of your games to what Libreto has them named.

Works great on Gamsir x2 bluetooth as no mapping was necessary at analog sticks and d-pads. You have made a very unhappy gamer into a winning one. How do I get a better aspect ratio, if possible?

I know retroarch inside and out but you always run into issues with it. Its best to have standalone emulators for some platforms and use this for everything else.

It doesn't let the users remap all buttons (like the sticks and D-pad) which is a huge problem. I generally don't recommend this emulator to people for this specific reason. Often, it's better if people have a choice of whether they want to play with the D-pad or Joystick. I can't suggest Retroarch to beginners either, which leaves only the standalone apps like Broglia's.

Lemuroid works fine the problem is that both my SwitchPro Controller and PS5 controllers won't work in game. They work fine in the menus to access options and launch a game, but once launched the buttons won't do anything. Please help!

@@MrSujano Actually incorrect. Lemuroid is a fork from Retroarch, if you read the app description you'll see that. In any case there's no in game option to change controls. I'd love to use it but without a gamepad it's useless.

I just tried out Lemuroid for the first time. I have a game that black screens for most of the content. I've tried a second game and no problem, so it's the game and not the emulator. I've confirmed that this game "Bomberman 64" has this problem on other emulaters, but since lemuroid is pretty new, I can't google any fixes. Any help?

I can't use the joystick and the 'B' button at the same time. It makes pokemon moon unplayable. The part where you use this is the fourth grass trial, trying to smash the rocks while riding Tauros to find the miracle seed

How do you add box cover art manually to games on lemuroid this emulator gets it's cover art from a certain site and the box cover art name has to match the name of the game sometimes if it matches it still won't show the cover art
