I had permission to videotape, but I had no idea until after the fact, that my footage would be used for the official release. This is everything that is thrash, punk and hardcore. I know there are insane live performances out there with crowds stretching till the horizon and insane mosh pits, but this! This has the core of it: a smaller completely packed venue, the attitude of the band, the guitar stomp, the most epic stage dive of all time, and the whole atmosphere is just something really special. Actually it was the newer Ritz when they were in the old infamous Studio 54 disco. I've been to many dope shows in that spot including this one. All these years later I still remember how packed that show was if you was on the floor you couldn't avoid the pit and it was like that all nite from the opening riffs of Morbid Angels "Fall from grace" to what S.O.D. did and you can't forget Agnostic Front killing shit as usual.
