Ghost200x In highclass bars, usually people sitting at the bar have their orders taken by the bartender. Otherwise your order will be taken by a server who gives the order to the bartender who prepares it. Also every bartender has their station called the stage. It’s where they work, if they need something someone else has, they can communicate. And it’s true that people can avoid each other. I do it all the time. At least that’s what I saw in central europe.

This is both a good and bad idea, bad because some people are idiots on Twitch and ruin shit for everyone and that also some people at the bar might not want to be broadcasted to the public, but I'd honestly watch this if it was just the camera pointed down at the workstation and behind the counter

For those wanting to do this, let me tell you a few things. not only do you need to have a good long term memory to memorize those cocktails, but also to be communicative as well as having a good foot work cause you need to be standing for long sensions. That's some great choreography lad, well played. I used to do this seasonally but it's a bit to hard for me. Also I don't know if u guys noticed but the groupes used to make espresso are 2 different sizes. Add that as well.. To conclude, simply amazing!

Sprite Corbett Are you a server? If the customer wants something quick then you recommend something easier to make. That’s your fault not the bartenders. Oh and if they have a round then the wait time is probably like 3 minutes, you get the cocktails done before they finish the round.

I served tables for a few years. I'm saying in a bar scenario he has that time there nice drinks, but as a server in a restaurant my goal is to flip that table so I wont even try to sell that drink unless they really want it. I work at a fast paced cocktail bar/ restaurant and this looks like the dream, we literally prep every single thing and our ice wells are easily 8x the size. On a busy Saturday night we will have 4-6 bartenders split between 3 wells. Usually 2 bartenders will be bar backs. In such a confined space. 5 in 10 mins. Thats 30 per hour... I can imagine, that theres a bit more capacity left, but not too much and only as long as everything is prepared and ready. On a busy night Im sure this can be seriously hectic or even stressy. But the POV also reveals how much routine you have, and with which tricks you may save a moment. The espresso add up for example. Saves at least 1 cup to clean. Do that 15 times and you have time for 3 more cocktails. Very cool!

It's just practice. I'm a pretty clumsy person too and yet at work it doesn't really cause problems thankfully. Of course i've shattered some glasses (out of sheer stupidity, i might add), but once you get used to it everything's all right!

With how much I've worked in a drive thru I think I could do it, I pour drinks with one hand and fill them up to the absolute brim, and I've carried 4 without a lid like that a few times, and I can count on one hand how many spills I've had in a year. Still, I'm nothing compared to this guy lol
