Yes! Forms worsk really well with Teams assignment tool. You just select the quiz when you create the assignment, and teams does everything else! Give it a go! (note - needs to be a "quiz" not a survey!)

I could not add the write answer. It would only give me a bin. How can I get it to give me the tick option as right answer?

Make sure you select "new quiz" and not "new Survey", or you will not get the option to put in the answers!

Can you add files and attach it to the quiz, files like Word, Excel and or PowerPoint .

Nawaf Ash you can’t embed it directly, but you can include a link to it (assuming it’s an office 365 document stored somewhere on SharePoint or OneDrive). Or you could embed both the document AND the quiz together in Teams or OneNote.

Thank you so much for this, your instructions were crystal clear as always. I am finding these really useful for distance learning, I am struggling however to provide feedback without having to snipping tool large sections of the tasks into emails for students and parents, and the emails end up looking quite clumsy. Is there an easier way?

Hey Martyn. Are you using Teams? You can use the assignment tool to deliver work, and then collect it back in, grade it and give feedback. I just have a short video explaining how to set up a simple assignment right now, but I'm planning to do a deep dive on the assigment tool in my next video.

Thank you for this, we do have teams but that seems to just be a box. Is there a way to duplicate the task so you can comment on particular sections? If not I might make a video on teams where I film my response whilst looking through their form. What do you think? Thank you again for sharing best practice.

Hi how do you put an option for students to include their name in the quiz using FORMS

Hey Saacha - if you want to capture student names, click on the three epsilons in the top right corner of the screen, and under "who can fill in this form", select "only people in my organisation can respond" and "record name". The students' names and email addresses will now be captured, along with their answers and scores.
