John Travolta's Saturday Night Fever dance is one of the best in film history! Can you believe the director originally wanted to film it only from the waist up? Travolta had worked so hard, he argued for the full body and we should all thank him for it.

when he smiles like that it is contagious, and i end up with a big smile plastered across my face too, intentionally or not. but so are those dances he breaks out in... when he starts dancing all around his couch, i always end up catching myself dancing all around my pillows and blanket. and those things are 'contagious' *because of* how genuine, and just spontaneously him being himself it is. i have mentioned before i think that i am quite sick, and basically can't get out of bed too much anymore. so, though i can't keep my bit of the 'contagious' dancing up for very long, i always just feel really grateful that those moments even happen at all anymore.
