I printed and equipped one of these from the thingiverse model for a friend. When he gets home, he puts his keys on and it turns on the lights. It's weighted to work with his key ring exactly, nothing else. I used the mechanism from a cheapo mechanical kitchen scale (the tanita non electronic 1kg scales). Was a bit fiddly to make it work, but it was fun.

Would you ever consider having a sort of freelance store for your products? Basically people commissioning you for simple builds you can sell and you can take your time working on them, as well as limit how many are able to be ordered per month or something, and maybe even find other people to help construct them. It's a long shot, but would help those that don't have a way of 3D printing the parts and assembling it.
@MrVolt2 жыл бұрын
I've thought about it and even spoken to Valve about it, but the margins aren't there in low volumes.
