The new Co.LUMA doesn't understand the way our electric net was designed and , after being almost destroyed by hurricane María, the "new guys in charge" are having a bad time trying to fix it in a US type of system which is more like trying to reset the whole thing redesigning from zero. The way it was designed before was to avoid the whole island to have blackouts like this one we had in New years Eve.... I would have rather them fixing it the way it was originally designed. Electricity issues have been one of the biggest dramas here in PR and gets worse because the bills keep going up and up🤷🤦

Thank you for always keeping everyone updated Brian,we really appreciate you 🙏 Yesterday Trinidad started out hot & sunny but by the late afternoon we got some well needed scattered showers...We will take all the rain we get because some areas got less rainfall than usual & some of the Reservoirs are still low...Our local meteorology service is forecasting a wetter than usual dry season for us & also they said to prepare for a wet week ahead into the new year which can result in some flooding in some areas...As of 11:45am light rain is ongoing in some areas with overcast conditions...
