I just got pro 30 lite , love it. 300 Canadian dollars from Amazon. Also came with plastic protective covers for back and front, so it does lay flat when set down. The face recognition and fingerprint, works very easily and well. Fast charges, excellent pictures, good sound.

This thing is nowhere near a Flagship killer. Even the Samsung A series is better in terms of their price. No AMOLED, the worst SoC of any midrange phone. Battery is too small. And then it is more expensive than an A50. Camera is decent, but also nowhere near the P30/P30pro. Only Bluetooth 4.2. This Phone would have been great one or two Years ago.

I downgraded from xs max to mate 20 pro. Huawei is really good. I experienced few lags at the first few days but i managed. Now it is quick and few gestures are similar to xs max so you wont adjust much

But you must remember. This is a midrange phone. It sucks to use out on parties as people see you as a person of a lower class status and the camera is subpar, and so is the performance. I have the A70 and my mom has a iPhone 7 plus lying around and i'd give anything to switch to the 7 plus.

The UI has never been really smooth on midrange phones. Older iPhones and flagship androids' screen have oleophobic coating or some sort of software magic (hardware) that makes it much more fluid. My mom's old iPhone 7 feels like it has smoother scrolling and so did my OnePlus 3T on Android 9 compared to my samsung A70

How come you've got a 24MP selfie + 48MP rear setup but on their websites the specs are 32MP selfie camera+24MP rear camera ? Does this vary based on region? Or just a mistake ?
