Thank you for your very accurate review of The MSC Yacht Club! Wasn’t it AWESOME? We were on MSC Europa out of Naples last year and it was fabulous! Our butler was a sweet lady named Marsel & Joel was our cabin steward. Donny was the butler that escorted us from the dock and through security. Like your husband, I was honestly kind of embarrassed to bypass the long lines but I gotta tell you, I got over it fast once I saw how quickly we got through the lines and to our rooms. The rooms, the food and the service were just the best. Missed the priority elevator option and will be sure to utilize your tip on our upcoming MSC Yacht Club cruise. Except for visits to some of the shows and the specialty restaurants we hardly left the Yacht Club. The lines, crowds, just okay food, etc, all disappear when you go this route:).

Great video. Sailed on that same class of ship Nov last year... Yacht Club interior as well. And immediately rebooked another Yacht Club trip for this past March. I'm going on the Seaside this week and just got the email we were upgraded to the Yacht Club! The perks are SOOO fantastic, I will not cruise any other way now.

Hi! Sorry for confusion - was for people not in Yacht Club. It’s cheaper to buy a package before you get on board. Tips are included in the price of the cruise with MSC. Hope that helps!

As you mentioned you can bring guest, is it only limit to the theater or you can invite guests in your room, YC pool, and buffett?

Hi! I don’t think it is a guarantee to take any ‘outsider’ into any YC area - quite the opposite. I was lucky enough to have friends join me in the theatre area as there was space and I was travelling alone - so they felt sorry for me. But I believe they try to stop forms of this. Or YC would be chock full of ‘joy riders’! If you think you can book one cabin and have 4 cabins worth of people in the common spaces of YC - definitely nope. They protect the exclusivity quite rightly.. Hope that help! Clare/Cag

Hi! So pleased you found the video useful! YES! Mini bar is fully included. You can ask your butler to fill it with exactly what you want. There is no limit here. Well - only the bar of Toblerone & the Pringles are restricted - you only get 1 of those included. Bit weird! ALL drinks are included & room service 24 hour. The free bottle can be wine, champagne or spirits. I chose spirits as it goes further - and I gifted it to a friend on land as there is no need to open it on board. I was actively encouraged to take the bottle away with me - not waste it when you have an open bar on board! Hope this helps. If you are deciding whether to book - do! I’m not employed by MSC - I just know a good thing when I find it! Cag/Clare

So much earlier in the year, I booked a basic inside (cheapest of the cheap), then a few weeks ago got the bid email. I did the minimum bid for yacht club inside etc, and yday got confirmation I'd been upgraded to a yacht club suite (balcony)! Amazing as I didn't think a min bid would win but it did! I think the staff are all amazing with kids. It the luck of the draw if any others the same age are in YC. But with the kids clubs…. Come on - drop off your kid and run back to YC for adult time! You deserve it & your kid will be so happy with other kids! Win win! I say go for it! Let me know how it goes. Cag

I agree that Yacht Club is amazing but something others may not know is that you get even more perks in Yacht Club with their top suites like Royal or Owners. On my last cruise, my butler showed me a few perks that would make other Yacht club passengers give me the evil eye :) First they took me to a private cabana that was always reserved just for me and introduced me to a private bartender that only serves these suites while I want to relax in that area. Then they had a private Golf cart that was just for these two suites, right outside the ship, that would take us to and from the island, where we didn't have to wait in a line with other YC members. There were a few other amazing details I'll skip for now but probably the best story I got was when I went a bit late to their YC Breakfast Dining. I don't remember why but their Breakfast generally ends at 10am and I was there 45min late (I'll blame the stocked room bar for this one)...In front of me was a couple that was having a really bad argument with the attendant there, who kept telling them how sorry he was but the Breakfast has been closed for 45min. They were getting really irate when I noticed the Maitre'd come out from the dining room. He began to explain to them that there is no way for them to come inside as the breakfast has been closed for some time now and there are no exceptions...As they were yelling obscenities at him, he noticed that I was standing behind them focused on my phone. At which point he shouted out "Mr Alex sir! Are you looking to have breakfast in the dining room this morning?"...I told him, "Yeah, if it's not a problem". He replied "Absolutely, right this way sir", and proceeded to open the locked door for me to walk in...The lady from the couple that was in front of me shouted out "what in the f was that?" and the Maitre'd responded "Oh, he's VIP"...That trip was definitely another level of YC, I had no idea existed.

@@CAG-TV You could use your KZbin channel to possibly get a media rate from them. I don't know if they gift these suites completely though. Also, one way to get the best rate on these is to not get it through the CruiseLine...use an agency instead. I save a ton of money on my suite cabins by using an agency. Cheers!

Yes!! We stayed on the MSC Europa out of Naples last year and it was fabulous! Wifi for both my wife & myself, a full minibar included. We had drinks in the lounge most nights (and in the afternoon too!) and had wine/champagne recommended by out server. It was absolute 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Trying to understand some British things - I thought this is Afternoon Tea, not High Tea. Are the terms interchangeable now?

Hi! 4 types of tea in UK (that I know of): 1) a cuppa - a cup of actual tea (lucky to get a biscuit). Hot and with milk. 2) ‘high’ tea - an elite cuppa served from tea pot in the afternoon with sandwiches and treats (scone debate another day!) 3) Children EAT Tea: as in they eat their last meal of the day at teatime - but not with the adults. They eat later. 4) Traditionally the lower classes also ate Tea. It’s still used today. (Someone has to serve supper I guide...) My son’s Dad eats tea. I have supper. Sorry - I find the question interesting so wanted to give a proper answer! The upper classes have either Supper at home or go out for Dinner in the evening. Jamie’s Dad thinks Dinner is Lunch - it’s a social minefield actually! Maybe I should go into the language side of life in videos?? Thanks for watching. X

Everything is included - if you don’t see it on the menu - just ask and they will go out of their way to provide. Gelato/ice cream is always available and they definitely had macaroons at the high tea - so you could just ask and have them any time! Hope that helps.

This will be our second time in the Yacht Club and last time we were surprised when we went to the cafe area mid ship and ordered a macaroon and was told it was no cost. We had no idea and usually try avoid paying for more when we have already paid so much for the Yacht Club to start with! There might be more included than any of us actually know.

You turn up whenever you want with Yacht club. Saw people getting on at 8am. If your ship is there - they should let you on. But you might have to wait for cabin. Have fun!

Hi! Good question... and I really love outside so it was a major sacrifice to take an interior room. For me solo - it was over twice the price to get a balcony... I just could not justify it. As a single/solo traveller it was better for me to take the hole of a room. If you are a couple - please save up for the balcony - it will increase your enjoyment so much. But as a solo it is good to get out and about... Hope this helped! Really do like to help. Cag x
