Just a quick update outlining my hair growth routine for the first three months since I shaved my head. I’ve been keeping my routine and products super basic since day one and I’m loving my progress. Enjoy!!

Shaved my head a month ago. It’s growing in so thick & beautiful (wish I did it sooner lol). I’m so excited… my edges are a bit ruined from not know ling how to care for my hair in my younger years. So I haven’t worn my short cut out in public yet. I’m currently doing research to receive a hair transplant. I’m only 25, it’s my biggest insecurity 🥴.

Shaved my bead yesterday and i can't stop touching it 😂 man kinda regret it but my hair was fried so i had no choice all i can do is look at myself in disbelief right now but hopefully when it grows back it will be better
@MsCatrin3 жыл бұрын
It definitely feels weird when you shave your head but it feels so good. I had moments of regret myself but I enjoyed the time not doing my hair 🤣 The growth will feel so much better when it comes in. Don't forget to moisturize! I started when the fuzz started to come in just to get into the habit. Enjoy your journey ❤️

Girl I did the samething due to damage hair. I cant keep my hands off my bald scalp. I love it
@jupiterdrip94533 жыл бұрын
If you use vinyl gloves that have some slip when applying product, it helps your scalp completely absorb the product and you're not wasting it on your fingers. Esepcially use them when massaging. You'll get the most moisture you can get this way.
@MsCatrin3 жыл бұрын
I will definitely try this. Thank you!!

I have also shaved my hair back in May of this year right now I’m on the 5th month and it has grown thicker and healthier, I wash my hair once a week using head and shoulders shampoo, I go in with a deep conditioner from Sally’s or dollar tress Shea moisture conditioner, sometimes like once a month i do a rice water treatment and hot oil treatment. All I put in my hair is oil ( soffee oil or coconut oil) and water lol I just brush it back it’s long enough now I can slick it back

@@starperkins2283 You will definitely get there. Patience is very important and keeping your hair moisturized. I struggled with being patient when I first chopped end of 2018. I didn't show my real hair until April 2019 when I reached shoulders. I started wearing single plaits but under my wigs.

Sigh…I experience hair loss Like clock work every couple years. From 2017-2020 hair thrived but come 2021…I slowly started losing the crown which seems to be normal and I have ccta on crown and mid hair but it still grew until then…by October my hair was stiff brittle regardless of oils, deep condition and my crown was virtually gone :( something hasn’t been right for the last year. Then got major surgery and been bald since October. Got two months in and shaved again. I barely have .25 inch still like a fade. I’m discouraged and don’t think I will ever grow hair back
