That’s my old SS Camaro. Blue Velvet Metallic. I see my plate on the fuse box and my rattle can painted reservoir cover over the antifreeze tank. Still rolling the black chrome wheels. Car still great with the ZL1 hood and IKON bumper cover on it. Traded in at Hare Chevrolet in Noblesville, IN on 9/23/2019 when I ordered my C8 Corvette. Damn I miss that car!

I want this setup. MSD Atomic, Katech, and DSX. Question; do I need the adapter plate if I get the 95MM throttle body instead of the 103mm? I have the LT1 engine, 2020 Camaro SS.
@sdracingllc15943 жыл бұрын
You may need to use the adapter plate that comes with the intake, you'd have to test fit and see. Though I would recommend putting a larger one like the 103 with that intake to take full advantage of it.

Reading the comments drove me crazy 🤪 (Mustang Dyno) there a very low reading dyno but a better Dyno in general! Unlike Dynapack , Dynojet and so forth.. I will say this I don't understand why most tuners don't use the dynamometer software calculations to simulate the translation to these lower reading dynos since everybody wants to see numbers. Not to mention elevation and so forth.. Good job nice builds !!

I have the msd atomic intake, msd 103mm intake, and I'm having issues with it. its drive by cable. The engine wants to high idle until the truck is up to temp do to the TPS not thinking its below .4 for some reason. And the other issue is I can't blip the throttle quickly. the rev won't come down very fast. Completely dumb founded at this point.

Do I need tune for the 103mm tb and Does it fit with roto fab intake?
@sdracingllc15943 жыл бұрын
Yes you will need a tune for the 103mm Throttle Body. We were able to stretch the coupler that came with the intake for a stock throttle body on this car, so theoretically you could with the RotoFab intake. Ideally you would want to get a different reducer coupler to make it easier.
@fredA12343 жыл бұрын
I just got the MSD Air Force intake but I did not get the 103 mm throttlebody I’m going to use the stock one for now is that OK?
@sdracingllc15943 жыл бұрын
The stock throttle body will work but a throttle body and intake manifold really need to be done together. They are a supporting modification for eachother. So you're not going to get a big benefit until you do add the larger throttle body.

Was this dyno run with E85 activated and E85 in the tank? I thought you can get 30whp just from the sensor, so you should have seen more gains with the sensor and TB and Intake manifold, right?
@sdracingllc15943 жыл бұрын
A lot of factors play into the dyno numbers. We had a little less desirable weather conditions than previously. Naturally aspirated E85 is typically good for 15-20hp on average.
