Are you using the Salty mod? What is your setting for cockpit interactions? I'm using legacy it could be your issue

@@aviationtheo5343 Then only thing that comes to my mind is the cockpit interactions settings under General Settings -> Accessibility if I remember correctly. Try changing it to legacy to see if it helps.

I keep having a problem with the 747 not following my filed flight plan with simbrief. Is anyone else having this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Can you expand a little more? What stage of the Flight Plan is not followed? Departure, Cruise, Arrival, Approach?

@@TheSimPilot Sure. Usually I start my flights from the gate and I'll upload from simbrief. When I open the VFR map it will even show my entire route with all the waypoints, but when I activate the autopilot shortly after takeoff it will not follow my flight plan. Instead, the autopilot follows a completely different route. When I press the "Legs" button on the flight computer it populates with different waypoints from my simbrief plan. And it's not like I don't know how to use simbrief, my problems started after SU5 so I'm guessing it's related to that. Any suggestions?

@@boswelljuggdesh2643 I had the same problem trying the 787 today. I suspect that it’s an issue related to the Timeclmb and Timearr (not sure that the correct spelling) way points that MSFS puts into any VFR GPS flight plans generated on the map page.

@@Oz_Gnarly_One thanks for sharing that. What I'm doing now as a temporary fix is manually imputing the waypoints that are shown on the VFR map. It's a time consuming pain-in-the-butt, however, it's the only way I can assure that I'm flying my desired route. At least until this issue is resolved, I see no other way around it.

What are the sids you select on dep.route ? and my navgivation tools are just dark screen doesn't show anything. Ive folowed all steps with simbrief etc

SID in the video is ELBE7N out of LFSB RW33 STAR is MONA2D to ILSRW30 into EKCH. Salty sim recently seperated this 747 from the default aircraft like the FBW A320. You probably need to install the latest release and look for Salty 747 under aircraft menu.

Informative video thank you. Used this aircraft today but as someone who doesn't use Simbrief, how do you import the flight plan that you set up in MSFS home page? I could see the flight plan on the map but it wasn't imported into the onboard computer.

In the FMC there is an option under Salty page. I think it's called Flight Plan Sync or something similar. You need to turn it on for the FP from world map menu to load into the FMC.

What do I do if it says "wrong pilot id" when I request to load my route?

Double check the Pilot ID ins simbrief that's more likely wrong. The pilot id is not your user name it's a set of numbers you can find it on the dispatch screen next to Captain Name if you already don't know about this.

@@CaptainProspect007 It can be found in the simbrief website. Create a flight in simbrief and look before generating the flight. You should see it next to captains name on the right if you scroll down just a little

Are you using default Microsoft navdata? If so that could be the reason, simbrief integrates better with Navigraph data.

its a fail, look back where you switch the tank pumps on, you forgot 2 pumps, and im not talking about the stabilizer tanks.

It could be a livery issue if it's the screens it's usually a livery that's incompatible with sim update 5. Did you tried with default livery? Here's the link I used to download github.com/saltysimulations/salty-747/releases/tag/v0.4.0

Does this show up in the jet menu? I tried stable and Dev. and they don't show up so I don't think they installed??

It needs to be in the Community folder for the sim to detect, it should show under Airliners menu not Jets

Are you asking about the in game checklist? Aircraft has a built in checklist but that's available only with the development version of the mod which can be found here: github.com/saltysimulations/salty-747/releases/download/vdev/salty-747-dev.zip

Yeah, unfortunately not having an EFB for ground services is making it a little hard. Plus with 747 when you switch to APU power GPU always stays available like it is in A320. I assume it's an Asobo code issue.
