FYI a holding pattern standard timing for a FL above 140 (your case) is 1:30 (1 minute and a half). Thanks for the video.

No problem - they're making some nice progress again finally! Not sure when TOD will be implemented sadly - progress is a lot slower than Heavy Division with the 787. Adding the simbrief ID, just go to the Salty menu and through to simbrief options and you'll be able to add it in there :)

Is there any rule when do you start to apply hold..? I noticed also that in distinction to other planes, you have pressed spd. button and then no. disappeared in that screen to be able after few min. to change speed. Great video!

Fantastic question... If you are on Vatsim and you are flying into somewhere that is busy then you can assume you might need to hold so you can then check the charts and get a hold ready like I did yesterday into LEPA during the live stream :)

It's good to see improvements but atm am finding it very broken ie the landing gear does not drop when you pull the control for it unless am doing something wrong

It's a little fat Cessna yes.... Takes off too quickly and doesn't want to land too well but that's because salty still haven't sorted the flight model stuff

@@BritishAvgeek Seems like someone is trying to work on those flight model issues, at least from taking a look at the Github. Once those get implemented and some remaining bugs with the autopilot get sorted, should be a really fun aircraft to fly.

@@muffo1965 it should be fine - have you tried using just your Pilot ID number instead of username? Also make sure you are on a recent AIRAC perhaps too

@British Avgeek I checked everything .... now with this mod I can't even download the route through the simulator. I think that the simulator doesn't have the same airacs of simbrief.

@@muffo1965 yeah the simulator has the new up to date airacs... Simbrief sadly makes you pay for navigraph to get the up to date airac... If the waypoints aren't valid and don't exist anymore you probably can't load the route. Also, make sure in the world map you *only* set departure gate and then spawn, do not select any destination in the world map or it will prevent simbrief import

I had to remove my Salty-747 mod. Apparently it conflicts with the Capt. Sim 777 200ER I have. Causes the displays to go blank! What to do? 😢

Ideally you'll have never have bought the awful captainsim 777 🤣 Remove any compatibility mods you have for that, then fly the 747

Probably.... Not too much has changed beyond what I've shown in this video. The heavy division 787 is a lot further ahead if you have that aircraft

I don't think there is (try it, it might work).... As mods try to make the aircraft more realistic you're better off trying to input the route manually via the FMS as it would be done irl. Can be problematic but use Simbrief :)

@@mobbe123 VNAV is ok but you don't want to rely on it - besides, if something doesn't work you should move to another option to try keep the flight going smoothly (problem solving) because not everything works properly on most of these aircraft (including fbw a32nx which still can't do holds) mapbox? I don't have anything like that - never heard of mapbox... Do you mean Navigraph Charts? That's the full one year Ultimate Subscription

Last time I used the mod with Navigraph...none of the SIDS or STARS appeared...Was the previous version...So I just uninstalled after asking for help and no response...Been sticking with HD 787.

Yes so the latest update came only a week ago to the latest Dev version so give it another go (it's still quite behind the 787 mod though in terms of what it can do)

Done a couple of short flights myself and it hasn't had a single problem so far - just be sure to complete all of the data it needs in the FMS
