MSFS 2020: using spacedesk.net to create a glass cockpit with old tablets (android and amazon fire)

I tried Spacedesk with my tablet. I moved the MSFS 2020 PFD screen to my tablet. While it worked, the FPS hit that I took in Flight simulator was massive. Not worth it. I went from 70fps to 50fps just by running 1 screen from the cockpit on my tablet. awful. I think a usb screen would probably be better. Thats my experience with it. Now, I have also used My little Nav map on my tablet using spacedesk so the app can talk to MSFS2020, and that worked great. I don't recall a fps drop there.

I am hoping to put a new video this weekend on my new setup with touch screens and Airmanager. It has been a long road but I think I am at a point where I am really happy with my flight sim setup and the last thing will be a bigger monitor at some point.

This was helpful. I actually knew about the Alt and drag feature and it is okay the problem is that it doesn't bring the bezel and thats the most important thing. I want to be able to focus the big screen on outside and then relegate the smaller screens to panel. Is there a way to bring out the bezels? does someone have a Bezel software program?

Hi Flyboy, I want to thank you for this video, excellent tutorial. I have waiting a long time to someone show how to simulate the G1000 glass cockpit to an android tablet. It's perfect solution and most of all free app to doing that. I have a little question, You know of ho to show up all of the G1000, I mean not only the display, but all the buttons of a Cessna 172 at the sides?

so i clicked right alt dragged it but it didnt go anywherer & didnt show up on my 2nd monitor this video doesnt really explaIn how to set this up especially when it comes to setting up a second monitor

Great stuff ... I have used prior, but now with Tablet and FIRE device I am having no luck, Im certain I have the IP correct, but its just not connecting to FIRE, Tablet is on and Off success... weird as always with this stuff.
