There's been payware that allows you to do this in flight simulator for years now. Which allowed multi-player abilities. The fact that career isn't multi-player is kind of a shame but we can't get everything we want at once. Im.hoping you can edit your terminal and airport in career mode. It would be an absolute shame if they didn't have a hard mode to where you HAVE to take off and land at your arrival/ destination airport every time. The fact you can fly missions anywhere right away with your aircraft seems unrealistic

Would be cool if they could reproduce fires outside of career mode based on live satellite data for wildfires, which shouldn't be too hard to access. Maybe support for that won't be there on day 1 but that in particular is such a huge part of live weather in the summer out west that it seems like a missed opportunity if fires aren't included outside of career mode

Agreed. During one of my solo xc flights for my private, there was smoke from forest fires that turned out to cause visibility to be reduced much more than was reported. holy crap i cant wait, when i heard there was going to be a new game i figured they wouldnt go backwards but i wasnt sure how a "career mode" would work but this video really helped me understand that i had nothing to worry about. i was worried that the new game was not going to be the same level of literal open world as the last one when it came to missions, but seemingly that is not the case. my one issue still though is that i intentionally plan on staying around where i am from irl which is a very rural area, and our "airport" is very small and i just cant picture how career mode might look. (i almost exclusively stayed in my home state around my stomping grounds in FS2020 and only occasionally explored other parts of our world) i do live where there are plenty of acres of farmland. i even have a few acres myself and i wonder if the game might even give me a job spraying my own or my friends and neighbor's farms. lol

I hope they open up the career mode to modders, like with NeoFly, for example. It would be great if modders were able to integrate their work directly into the sim’s UI and create custom cutscenes. I really enjoy the realism those elements bring. For instance, when you deliver to a location, you either pick up from that airport or depart without a payload to another destination. However, starting at a small airport outside of Denver and being able to take a job all the way in Florida feels immersion-breaking for me. I’ll definitely still give it a try since it’s a step in the right direction, as long as it doesn’t take away from the core simulation aspect. In my opinion, the sim should offer both: a detailed aircraft career mode and a detailed flight sim.

Hi ! I have a very important question to ask: Okay, you can buy your own plane(s) when you have your own company, but... In career mode, can you fly like in freeroam with YOUR plane instead of just “fast traveling” to another airport to generate a mission? Example: My main airport is in London. Can I literally walk out of HQ and take my plane into my hangar and fly between London and Paris, and only then change my “main” airport to Paris without paying “fast travel”? Another example: can I take off my personal plane from my main airport and land it somewhere in the middle of the fields for a walk in fps mode? All in a career mod, of course ? In short, can I fly freely without launching a mission in the career mod? Or does the career mod allow you to fly the planes you've bought only on missions ?
@michawencel91843 ай бұрын
What about doing that missions on Vatsim? for example commercial flights? I have few more important question? Do you have any news about weather API? - It will work with third party aircrafts? Aircrafts like PMDG or Fenix? - It will be easy to run on MSFS 2024? I was using APL chapter 2 for simulating pilot life. - I think i will stick with that.
@vstaritz3 ай бұрын
My only worry with this system (as long as the scripting works properly) is that depending on where you decide to work it might make it significantly more time consuming to progress. You can get into a similar situation in NeoFLY where if you don't pick somewhere in Western Europe or North America you end up in a airport desert and every task is now a whole hour away as opposed to 30 or so minutes. Hopefully the bush missions especially with rotorcrafts will compensate for that and make remote regions more attractive.

I want a relaxed mode, not a work-mode in the after work hours, so the single player career mode is good for me. And I would fly often in the sim without any obligations and without the career mode just to enjoy flying and enjoy the surroundings... But for people who want to have a fixed time in your free time when you meet up virtually and do a project together, sure, they could add this too. But not as a must for each and every flight, not as a must for a single player career mode. And a single or multi player career mode should not be required in the future just to fly in the sim.

For example I fly out of airport A with 50% fuel and after arriving at airport B using up 35% fuel I complete the mission and log out of the game. next time I play is the aircraft at airport B with only 15% fuel or does it reset? I know you mentioned that if you run you own company you have to be mindful of wear and tear, but you also said you can do missions all over the world so how does that work? Do you borrow an airplane at the location to do the mission, even if you have your own company or are your plane magically transferred to the mission location even if you if isn't anywhere near where your base of operations is?
