Maybe you already know this, but to turn on synthetic vision, and taws on the pfd you can click the grey button on the outboard of each pfd or the correspondent button on the bezel

Scenery by UK2000. Glad you're starting up with the PC-24. And trust me, we've still got plenty more to explore and learn on the PC-24.

You're lucky) My PC24 is broken and does not work...the buttons are not pressed, the backlight of the buttons is constantly on at maximum brightness, so everything lights up. The ores don't work either and the chassis won't retract.

A few weeks back, that was my experience with the PC24. Dumb question, have you been prompted to update FS2024 recently? Whatever update came about a week or 2 ago fixed that issue for me
@aviaticguy-20244 күн бұрын
Sounds like I am not the only one with problems. Every time I put the throttle back to Zero percent my engines turn of. And when I extend the speed brakes nothing happens in the cockpit only outside do the speed brakes extend. But when I set the speed brake manually it shows me that they are on half or full extended.

@ I noticed the same! It really is a bit frustrating and it dampers the immersion. Let’s hope Asobo get their stuff straight and fix these bugs.

I think it I found why it shuts down. So on my Velocity yoke i have the 2 middle throttle sticks as throttle and the right one is also set with the mixture axel but i dont know where to delete it.😡🤬 Do you know where i can find the setting for that?

VT - threshold crossing speed; target speed (after V2 has been reached)

Correct! I edited the video and included a caption when I go over Vspeeds but thank you for the clarification.

Nice thanks. I thought the PC24 had reverse thrust?
@thatflightsimchannel3 күн бұрын
@@billB101 the Williams FJ44 engines used by the PC24 did not come with reverse thrust primarily due to Pilatus wanting to save weight. It’s common for these light jets not to come equipped with reverse thrust as most of them (Phenom/Citation/Pilatus) have great short field performance and are able to land and slow down without the need for reverse.
@billB1013 күн бұрын
@@thatflightsimchannel Thanks. It's the PC12 that has the reverse, I was using it in career today,
@thatflightsimchannel3 күн бұрын
@ correct! The PT6 engine found in most turbo props today has a strong reverse. Stay tuned, we’re about to release a basic tutorial on the PC-12, followed by a more in-depth look at systems and avionics 😉

My PC24 in the sim has engine 2 throttle stuck fully open, which means it's unflyable. Ive checked all settings and controller mapping to no avail. So frustrating!
@thatflightsimchannel4 күн бұрын
It sucks to hear about these issues within the community. We’re experiencing bugs with the autopilot which is making us hesitant to produce tutorials on autopilot and flight planning features. Looks like Asobo have some patching to do on the PC-24

Can anyone get the cargo door to work?

Nope! I thought I was the only one struggling.
@aviaticguy-20244 күн бұрын
Hello first of all thank you for that video. So I have a question. Every time I start the engines, just a fast start not the professional way. So when I do that, every time my throttle is on 0% thrust, the engines shut down again. But when I start up and put throttle over zero percent then the engines work, but again when I go to zero percent they shut down. This also happens at some other planes. But not on the PC-12, there every thing runs perfectly. So can someone help me, because I don't wanna have to be careful not to get the thrust to 0%
@thatflightsimchannel4 күн бұрын
Sorry to hear that! It sounds like your throttle bindings could be duplicated with the engine off command (or whatever they’re called in the sim). My very first suggestion is to double check your throttle axis bindings and verify that they aren’t duplicated with another power management command. Otherwise, I suggest reconfiguring controls or make a new profile in controls for the PC24 specifically

@@jeremyc311709 couldn’t agree more! Capt. Flako and I talk about this daily and how it makes our life a bit harder when we’re trying to do these tutorials. Unfortunately for us simmers, it seems like we’ll have to adjust to the growing pains of FS2024 for now and hope for the best. But that’s easier said than done, especially when we all paid a hefty price tag for the sim.

We actually enjoy Carenado products. Even though they’re not the most realistic flight models, the physical models are pretty spot on. But it could use some work for sure in terms of systems and overall fidelity
