Went back to 2020 and don’t regret it.

I’ll be using 2020 for a while yet until all my add ons are ported over. The only real option for me in 2024 at the moment is the Fenix so I will keep testing, there are some promising signs and I have no doubt 2024 will definitely take over at some point. @seven3simmer I just want to see better perfomance. I can play MSFS 2020 in Ultra @1080p both in VR & Non-VR. In 2024 it's awful it's the other way around. I can't even get decent fps in 2024 half the time. The other times I'm dealing with bugs and uncompleteable missions. I have a 3060ti and every time I put DLSS on in both sims it seems like nothing improves.

What's the refresh rate/spec of your monitor? There's a lot contingent on what your monitor is capable of, such as if you're on a 60hz monitor, it makes no sense to run frame generation, as you gain nothing.

Hey, thanks for your question. I run a 1440p 120hz monitor, but I cap my frames to 60fps in the Nvidia control panel which feels nice and smooth without the sim trying to chase too many frames. The frame gen makes a huge difference to what I see on screen, although in the video you’re watching my editing software renders at 1080p 60fps for KZbin so that’s also worth taking into consideration.
