Thanks very much Novawing24 for sharing this tutorial and showing in a nutshell how this Air Hauler works. Im new to MSFS2020 and this addon. It's really cool that there is a career mode. I was doubting with the OnAir but the fact that one has to pay a contribution fee on a certain base held me back from it. Better 1 time buy and no more charges. Keep up your great work and vids. Cheers!

You're very welcome! It is a fantastic program that combines Company management and flying to new places!

Hi, thanks for the video. It was very helpful and made me buy the software. I have a question. Can you explain how to do a cargo shipment larger than your plane ability, i.e., shipment 4000lbs vs plane total cargo capacity 1500lbs approx. Regards.

How long is it supposed to take to level up pilots? I did like 5 1h hauls in Alaska today and my pilot is still only lvl 1 (Wannabe). Is it supposed to take dozens or hundreds of hours of flying?

Great video, one question Do you have to return to the main menu every time you finish a job? Or can you just use the loading manager in the sim

is AH2 still getting new features? like you said about wear/performance/mechanical issues, i notice these days MSFS has a slider for generic performance wear but i don't see it in the air hauler change logs, would be a shame if its not getting stuff like that added, but im still probably getting it anyway

dose the sim need to be running the hole time or do i have to close the sima nd restart the sim everytime i get a new job??
@Novawing2410 ай бұрын
The programs are actually independent. So you can leave it and your sim running while working jobs and just accept a new job. Later on as you grow your company and start hiring extra pilots, you can just launch the program if you only need to order them to do tasks and don't need to fly yourself.

Seems interesting. I've already paid for OnAir for 2 years, so can't really justify buying this as well, but might take another look when my onair subscription is over. Great in-depth review by the way, very useful in helping to evaluate without actually buying it.

Fair enough! As I say in the video I've been using the Air Hauler franchise for a long time, and I love the feel of it. Though I find myself wanting to fly more and manage less so I'm curious about Nomad mode this time around! Thanks for watching!

Novawing24 thanks for the very informative video! This looks like exactly the career mode I've been looking for. I've tried OnAir and SkyPark. Both were decent but Air Hauler 2 hits all the right notes with me. Buying this tonight! PEACE

If you're old enough to remember, you'll find it to be a bit like Lemmings, i.e. you get completely detached from time!

I bought it and got warnings it would harm my system the would not allow the exe install through ms edge. So through chrome and forced install it finally loaded. Once set up i chose the cj4 option and went for a type rating from my fbo. The fbo is in San Bernardino ca. Eastbound following the type rating instructions put me in the mountain which i flew over with less than 400 feet agl. Obviously frustrated and knowing i blew my boundaries i went back and put it down at over 200 kts. In the end i was chided for a hard landing. Funny it said nothing about speed, altitude, or reckless disregard for airspace limitations. Think ill try it again with a west bound departure this time.

Will it load fuel and start sim with FSX? (Like AH does)
@Novawing243 жыл бұрын
It does not at the time of recording the review. I believe it is on their roadmap, but they are still learning the new sim.

Not in MSFS at this time.

Great video but it seems weird that you can't import from AH2 which is way more up to date than its predecessor. That's like saying you can import stuff from FS98 into FSX but not from FS2004! Obviously we can't import the aircraft into the MSFS version but it's only background data so I wonder what the problem is. I have cargo configure aircraft only and I've been running a three x 737-800 company in P3D since AH2 was released - in fact my copy is still labeled 'Early Release' although it is completely up to date. Love the program but BEWARE, it can be addictive! One thing you haven't mentioned is the great support from Slopey - the developer. I'm looking forward to the A300 coming into MSFS because that's when I'll get the brand-new(?) AH2 and build up my company again. I have over the years found that a spreadsheet is so useful to keep track of where your aircraft are, what they're carrying, maintenance status and loads of other fun stuff, plus how you've planned the week ahead.

@Alliance Gaming, both are great programs but cater to slightly different markets. I love NeoFly and SkyPark as well, but each program has its own strengths and weaknesses. I try to present a balanced review of each platform highlighting what is good and not so good on each.

It will probably buff out. 😆😆😆😆 Were this real life, the airport workers would be scraping that Cessna off the runway. 🙃🙃🙃🙃. Funny remark nonetheless.

A bit of constructive criticism: you often speed talk and end up stumbling over your own words and mumbling, which makes it difficult to follow you. It makes focusing on the content harder because I’m simply trying to make sense of your often garbled pronunciation. Something to consider for future videos. Otherwise, this was very helpful thanks!

really bad addon... i bought it, it's rich of everything but not about missions... just a financial addon to manage your money but so boring missions with a single traject, long and bad payment, with a return to the main base without a mission possible. 41 euros wasted.

Keep in mind that this is an Overview, not a review. You were given the program for free, so its basically just an advertisement for the program, not a non-biased party.
@Novawing244 жыл бұрын
Interesting Alex. I wonder, if that were the case... why would I point out flaws with this program? Why would I also be suggesting other alternative programs as well? That would seem to counter your statement and logic. Obviously you are new here and have not seen many of my reviews over the last decade where I have consistently shown I give honest balanced opinions and reviews. Don't forget to Like and Subscribe! @@Novawing24 It's very difficult for a reviewer to claim a review is unbiased if they got the product for free.

Who determines whether a video is an overview or a review? Only the content creator. The rest is simply speculation. Just because something was received free doesn't negate one's ability to make a review of said product.
