This thing has made my Flight Sim life so much easier and organized. Addon's often come with crazy names that are not readily apparent as to what they are. I created sub folders for Aircraft, Scenery, Liveries, Avionics and water fixes. I renamed all my addons the following way State, City, and what the scenery object is. That way if I am flying in Maryland for example I can quickly link all Maryland stuff to my community folder and nothing else so the sim loads much faster.

I organized mine by country, liveries, aircraft, and libraries. And big countries like the US I have a sub folder for each state, Canada folders for each province.

Very clever and well explained ! Once you've created folders on various drives, to your liking...if you change your mind, can you move to other location ?

How did you link GSX? It shows me missing manifest.json in the community folder. The Addon Manager from GSX in itself is symbolically linked. But when I installed MSFS Addon linker. GSX breaks and does not load. Just curious to know how you set it up.

One more thing, for example CRJ is already outside the "default" Community Folder, looks like a folder shortcut. Maybe better leaving CRJ as it is ? How about when you upgrade aircrafts and other stuff, will the installation program understand the new file location ?

Hi Corrie, unfortunately this product is not compatible with the Xbox version of msfs, only the Microsoft store/steam versions.

Is there a risk of corruption ? Documentation for addon linker says, try with one file first, make sure it's working
