I believe you may be confusing air speed with ground speed. The Concorde’s max cruise speed is Mach 2.04. Which at 55,000 ft is roughly 600knots. 600 knots indicated air speed at 55,000 ft is, depending on wind direction, about 1180 knots ground speed. Which comes to 1357.92 mph across the ground. :) But in short the plane is flying at its maximum speed in this video.

​@taydan04 I just did some research because I assume you to be speed bird. Now 600 knots calculate about 690 mph. That's not fast for the concord. Unless it's a video game speed.

@@Trust291 600 knots is the air speed. You are thinking in ground speed which in this video is closer to 1100-1200 knots.
