Hi Mark, great video as always. As for a scenery that you may have missed, although I doubt it, there is Lands End freeware by Superspud. It is a stunning scenery and well worth the download, that is of course if you have not already done so!

11:26 Vilshofen is near my home region "Bavarian Forest" and I know this place quite well, as I have often driven nearby and over the Danube bridge. I had to download it immediately and was so happy that someone did it and donated via paypal as a small thank you. I hope that someone will depict Arnbruck EDNB and its surroundings in such detail, I will definitely even buy payware on the market for it as my father and I were members of this aero club in the 90s. I was 14 back then and my father had a PPL and i started to learn to fly a glider at that airfield.

My gosh Mark, my daughter went to Appalachian state university in Boone NC. We both had motorcycles and I put around 100,000 miles on my Goldwing riding the highway from Raleigh up to the mountains and then just about every back road from southern Virginia eastern Tennessee North Carolina and up and down the blue ridge parkway (BRP). Strawberry ridge airport is basically at Little Switzerland. i've been to little switzerland I don't know how many times and i never realized they somehow put an airport in that area. those switzerland is fine it's a upscale hotel motel resort. there's a nice art gallery there, candy store, homemade ice cream place. oh too bad you can't simulate flying in and walking over. anyway many thanks for the find.

I love it that your list includes Meigs Field. I think the only things missing from it are the bulldozers. ;) I have the freeware version as well and do plan on buying the payware one to support the dev.

Thank you, Mark. I also love the Wellesbourne Mountford and Duxford sceneries, and I'm downloading the Vilshofen addon you recommended here as I write this - I'll get Linz-Ost as well, as it is also by Troglodytus and was recommended by him as a good location for journeys to and from Vilshofen along the Danube. I saw a comment here suggesting Thun airport which also looks very good and which I'll be downloading. I would recommend ESGR Skövde Airport by Borgillios. It's a great addon of a Swedish airport about 80nm from Gothenburg (and approximately130nm from Stockholm) - well worth a look.

Duxford UK is my favourite and i would have paid Good money for it.. If you fly the Justflight hawk then the excellent RAF Valley is a good starting point for flying the MACH LOOP. KZbin won't let me post a link but can be Googled easily.

There is currently only one free airport, can be easily found in the Market Place, it’s very nice with animated passengers in the terminal

Great video Mark, some real gems there. I'm a very homely flyer, thus far limiting myself to the south of England. Two favorites of mine that were included are Superspud's excellent St Mary's airport on the Scilly Isles, as he's also worked heavily on the islands themselves, and Lundy Island, which has an excellent summer version with picnicing crowds and lots of GA aircraft. Little island hops are one of my favourite things to do in the sim. I definitely need to get more adventurous though, some beautiful places for sure in the wider world!
