Is there a keyboard shortcut available for the GPS/NAV switch, or for the CDI selector button? I have searched and cannot find that these functions are available as a keyboard shortcut.

I think you should explain why you did some of these things so that someone who's flying could understand why you choose 1700 RPM or how you have to set the vertical speed after setting the altitude.

Hi Quentin, thanks for your comment! I really tried to keep the video as short as possible, meaning there wasn't time to explain the rationale. However, you can download an expanded tutorial guide PDF at tutorial.flightsimcoach.com which will cover some of these questions. Also based on your suggestion, I will consider making a longer, more detailed video in the future. Thanks, and if you have other questions, let me know!

Was it the autopilot who maintained the flight in correct path ( that pink line) or was it u ???
@FlightSimCoach3 жыл бұрын
Hi Satyajit, from 1:15 through 4:21, the autopilot is on. You can see whether the autopilot is engaged (and what mode it's in) by looking at the green annunciators (e.g., LOC/AP/ALT) at the top of the primary flight display. Whenever you see a green AP, the autopilot is engaged. I never exactly targeted the pink/magenta line in this flight - instead, I had the autopilot track the localizer for the ILS approach, which is not shown directly on the map in this case.

@@FlightSimCoach is there any steps to make the auto pilot track the localizer or it does it by itself
@FlightSimCoach3 жыл бұрын
@@thicccpumpkin2287 Yes, starting at 1:52 (Step 10) you need to set the localizer frequency, then set the CDI to LOC 1 (Step 11), and finally, press the APR button on the autopilot (Step 12). At that point, the autopilot should turn right to intercept and track the localizer. Keep in mind that while these steps will work for this simple flight from PAE to BFI, on other routes, you may have to maneuver to get closer to the localizer first before you can press APR and have it successfully track to the runway.

@@FlightSimCoach can i set the same value(110.3) for other flights???? if no how to get that value for other routes. Edit - will this tracking thing work for all planes????(airbus a320) this was my last question :)
