Perhaps central Europe might come after the UK world update. Love the dynamic feel of flying in this game though - when you commented on feeling the lift an drops I knew exactly what you mean. I cannot praise the VR implementation enough the guys at Asobo did a great job and didn't ask for more money for it. I am running a Vive pro at 30 to 45 FPS 2080Ti i9 9900k 32GB 3600 RAM I thought that it would struggle in multiplayer with live weather etc but no, superb. I did spend 24 hrs fiddling with the perfect settings though TBH a lot of the settings are set lower than I would want but in VR it doesn't seem to make a major difference in visuals like they would in flat screen.

Thanks for replying a few days ago about MFS2020 working much better on the xbox PC store, it would be really interesting to see a frame rate comparison between the two version, I haven't been able to find anything, how much of a difference do you think it is frame rate wise and smoothness? What makes me hesitate about the xbox store version is the steam version might end up getting better frame interpolation, and it would work with the quest 2 also. @ralongfortheride34534 жыл бұрын
I was really surprised at the lack of geographic detail, and disappointed. For example at 1:50 minutes in, the hillside below the plane, just after taking off from Lukla, computer generated trees on the hillside. IS THAT WHAT YOU REALLY SEE, or is this an artifact of the VIEW chosen? There are photographic data sets available, eg ones that google is using on google maps and google earth. So is real data available not used?IF SO, this seems like a huge loss, with a world wide impact to users of the sim who are thinking they will be seeing real, photo-based levels of detail in the sim. Can someone comment on the photo bases used, and if these current viewing bases are draping computer generated detail onto landscapes, instead of real photo-based detail? If so, will there be upgrads to photo-based detail anytime at all? Most would like to see the world, as it is, this is a huge draw. Knowing you are seeing computer graphics instead of the real thing is a real downer. That, plus the learning curve to get the sim to work and the fact that newbies will really struggle getting this going, as describe here, are giving me pause to act. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYfXqmedfbmaeKs Alternatives to msfs2020 are suggested, given a number of issues. I was hoping to revamp my whole computer system to get into flight sims, based on the belief i would be seeing the world as it really is. Can someone please clarify what portion of the experience is real earth photo real vs computer generated? Thank you.
