hi man, i have the same video card 1 month ago... it works well in many games i can't complain about it but the problem that i find in this card is the noise... when the coollers starts to run...i find it very noisy... does the same happen to you? thanks.

I believe that to be a feature to allow higher loads on the gpu for longer periods of time. It happens to me whenever I put a heavy load on the system.

I realized that the problem was not the gpu but was the cpu... i fixed it whit a cooler that replace the "intel cooler"

If your PSU is modular you can buy an 8 pin from its manufacturer. If not you'll need to buy a PSU that has an 8 pin included.

The GPU has been good. If you are having issues I'd say use DDU Uninstaller and download the most recent recommended drivers off of AMD's website. And also check your connections from the GPU to the motherboard and PSU

@@MegaSpiderman147 lol I did get it from Amazon to andits probably not defective it just took a lot of playing around my suggestion since I got it to work is use the cleaner provided by AMD, and same as JayTKik says download the adrenaline software and go for the one that detects what hardware you have and be sure you select the minimal set up, I'm happy to announce that my baby is up and running and I'm so impressed by what it can do

I have a friend with a 6600xt version of this card. Started artifacting a couple days ago. Told her RMA and sell it. Those crappy coolers they use dont dissipate the heat good enough. Causing the card to heat up more then it should.

If you are playing a game while this happens it is supposed to do that as that's how the temps stay low. If you're doing light activity while this happens try reseating the gpu or it may be faulty

@@JayTKix It has passive cooling up to 40° When I'm not playing the games.. but when the temperature rises about 41° fans start spinning very fast.. the latest driver is already installed but it happens again. I tried custom fan curve in msi afterburner an it works when it turned on. But when the afrerburner is off The same problem occurs. Tomorrow I'll have to try it on another system.. anyway I'm very disappointed with my purchase

It very well may be a malfunctioning card sadly. You can file a claim with AMD support and they'll send a new one or simply just return it. Sucks it doesn't work for you as this is a great card
